Stopped in on the way through town. Great experience - like others have said - exterior is rough, inside is dated, but the service and food is excellent. Definitely a diamond in the rough. We had the hanger steaks and it was as good as others I have had that cost 5x the price.

Next time I am in town, we are definitely stopping back!

So first thing to me was appearance. The outside looks kind of rough. The paint on the side of the building where you entered loomed very dated and peeling and the parking lot when I got there had some large puddles of standing water. Next was I went to the bathroom to wash up before my meal. It was very dark and the bathroom was quite dirty with this spider on the sink. No paper towels to dry my hands. I then sat to have my meal. We had a wonderful meal last night at Jack Slades. We started with the onion petals and they were delicious. We wanted to get some calzones to share, but they were out. We were bummed because their calzones are AWESOME, but it turned out wonderfully. Why? You ask? Because it made us try other stuff.
And, EVERYTHING was hot and Delicious!!!! I included pictures of everything except the onion petals. But, I have to say, they look awesome, too!!!
