We spent 2 months in Winona and frequented all four downtown coffee shops. They are all good but the Blue Heron was our favorite. It has great coffee and excellent food in an open and inviting atmosphere. It does have somewhat limited hours so you’ll need to check to make sure they’re open. You won’t be disappointed.
Really a beautiful and spacious coffee shop right downtown. Lots of great parking parking and the paintings and artwork around this coffee shop are incredibly beautiful. More over, this place is extremely clean and the staff is attentive and friendly. I was very impressed! Five stars!!
Parking: Street parking as well as a whole parking lot right next-door.
Kid-friendliness: They have boxes of toys for kids as well as some games.
Wheelchair accessibility: Excellent and easy access.

Love this little gem! Hard to pick from the delish menu! Lots of unique items. Loved the sesame noodle salad and chicken salad sandwich. Fast efficient service, very clean, reasonable prices, decent portions, liked the designated parking lot so my mama didn’t have to walk far. Will be back!

Unbelievable genuine find!!! Had the nummiest vegan kale salad & foofoo toasted coconut coffee!! The host was fun, patient & had the best recommendations. Ivy was a gem also!! The cafe had local artists expressions & plants positioned all over the place!! Such a delight!! Thank you for an amazing visit while staying in Winona!
Vegetarian options: They have dairy alternatives for the coffee along with cookies and salad that are also vegan. Yay!!
