We have gone to the Green Mill for two years straight while in town for a hockey tournament and both times been turned away due to lack of staff to help serve customers. The manager stated they had 1 reservation for a hockey team and our group of 15 could not sit down to order food as they did have the staff to help us. We moved to the bar area and was approached again stating we couldnt sit there either and order drinks or food for our kids. What kind of business attached to a hotel, on a hockey tournament weekend, at 2pm in the afternoon on a Saturday turns away hungry kids cause they cant serve them. At best there where 15 people in the bar along with dining area. WOW!

We decided to try Green Mill for Sunday breakfast, after several recent negative reviews on Yelp. The Buffett has the breakfast basics, but we ordered off the menu. Pancakes, hash browns, omelettes were all good and very good portions. The coffee was very good. Our server Ishaia(spelling may be off!)was very friendly, and corrected a food issue that came up. Agreeing with the past negative reviews, the main issue here is speed and urgency of service. It took a long time to be greeted and seated at the door. There was a hostess that eventually came, but servers passed us and made eye contact, but never said "Welcome, someone will be right with you, sorry for your wait." That would make a negative into a positive! We had longer than average time to then be served, get our drinks, and our food. It was not busy, there was enough staff working where service should have been fast. I really hope the management reads these reviews, because with some refresher for the servers and on duty managers, the future reviews - but more importantly customer experience- will really improve.

I don't know how it is possible for a restaurant to continually do worse every year but this place should have been shut down years ago. The service is absolutely terrible once you are seated you are forgotten about. You can hear the kitchen staff goofing around at full volume while the server/waitresses are now just no where to be seen. The food took forever to come out and when it did the food looked dry and was told they ran out of several items but decided to go ahead and serve it anyways. The plate was also hot enough to burn me but somehow the food was cold. Also watched the few guests that were there trying to flag down the waitress to pay there bills but we're actively ignored. Never once was offered a refill on the single beer I received, it was cold and the only thing I paid for. Will not return and do not recommend.

This place is hit or miss- my mom loves coming here for the pizza and pasta buffet. The first time we came it was very good. Christy greeted us like family (she even knew my mom by name) and the food was hot. I've been a vegetarian for 15 years, Christy was very knowledgeable about what was in all the pastas and on all the pizzas and showed me exactly what I had to chose from. The second time however was very very different. It was the day after Thanksgiving right at 11am and I really believe that the food that was put out was food from the Tuesday before. The pizza was congealed and cold which it should NOT have been since it was right at opening time. The salads were okay but the ranch was like water- none of us could eat it. The spagetti noodles were rock hard DEFINITELY not made that day. I asked the gal working if one of the pizzas that was out had meat on it and she had no idea. She said she'd find out- 10 minutes later I asked her again and stood there until she asked the cook. Our bill came and the waiter (Ben but I swear he kept calling himself Beth) had rung it all incorrectly- charging breakfast buffets, and charged us for buffets that she had vouchers for. My mom was in tears because she just wanted to take us all out for a good meal (my daughter and her husband were visiting from Alaska and we are from Arkansas). It was really hard to watch. She has been back since and has had good experiences.

Usually really good food. Everyones food was either cold or the pasta was really dry. Just must have been a busy night the waiter was really nice and apologized for everything but had to cut alot off of the bill.

Normally I like thus place ...but 3 out of 5 orders the last to.e were awful. Margherita pizza was nothing like a margherita pizza is supposed to look or as I have seen them prior to it was so greasy you had to take your napkins and blood off the grease before you could even eat it. I ordered a cilantro lime salad which the shrimp was supposed to be sauteed the dressing was supposed to be cilantro-lime it was Chipotle it was horrid I think that the beans were rotten. I will give the place another chance as I said before I have had wonderful meals there
