Nate and Ally's Frozen Treat Creations

Such a great spot for a sweet treat. Not only do they have the frozen yogurt/gelato machines that are priced by weight (with a bunch of topping options), they also have a TON of great flavors of ice cream available by the scoop! Staff were friendly, offered samples of any scoop ice cream we were interested in.

This review is about what happened tonight than an over all experience. I've been to nate and Allys before and have had wonderful experiences but tonight was very disappointing and a letdown for our group of 6. We arrived at 730 with 4 other people right behind us. As we were about to get our ice cream, we noticed the 2 employees packing up all the toppings without any notice that they were closing for the night. We would have still gotten ice cream but half the machines were either out of the flavor or shut off for the night. None of the adults in our group got anything. My husband and I stopped at McDonald's on the way home.

Minnesota Pothole is the best ice cream I've ever had from an ice cream shop. When I visit Winona each year I look forward to getting it so much! Also it's a nice place with friendly service and good prices :)

We stopped in at 7:30pm. As we were about to start getting a cup they closed up all the toppings. They did not tell us they were closing early. Only one or two of the ice cream machines worked, not sure if they were purposely turned off or they were all out.

Lots of selection. Decently priced.

We love it. The Sea Turtle ice-cream was my favorite! The Dole Whip mixed - pineapple and raspberry was excellent!

Prices were OK – not super great. Nevertheless, the service was nice and the atmosphere was really neat. Had a good vibe. Gelato, frozen yogurt, and regular ice cream available. Portions were decent and the store was clean. Recommend.

Only one staff person on busy Sunday. Our order was 1/2 melted before we could check out. Not the one person's fault but better scheduling so someone can ring while the other dishes ice cream would've been great. Great to have dietary specific offerings.
