My friend and I went three days in a row. The flavors are so good, we tried 3 or 4. If you’re in the area it’s definitely worth checking out, we’re from Missouri!

The value is unreal good! We ordered a “double” thinking it would be a scoop of ice cream x 2. Nopeeeeee - the double was about 5-6 scoops!
Besides the great value, the quality and taste of the ice cream was top notch! We got the lemon cheesecake & peanut butter brownie…both SUPER tasty!😋

Such a great spot for a sweet treat. Not only do they have the frozen yogurt/gelato machines that are priced by weight (with a bunch of topping options), they also have a TON of great flavors of ice cream available by the scoop! Staff were friendly, offered samples of any scoop ice cream we were interested in.

This review is about what happened tonight than an over all experience. I've been to nate and Allys before and have had wonderful experiences but tonight was very disappointing and a letdown for our group of 6. We arrived at 730 with 4 other people right behind us. As we were about to get our ice cream, we noticed the 2 employees packing up all the toppings without any notice that they were closing for the night. We would have still gotten ice cream but half the machines were either out of the flavor or shut off for the night. None of the adults in our group got anything. My husband and I stopped at McDonald's on the way home.

Minnesota Pothole is the best ice cream I've ever had from an ice cream shop. When I visit Winona each year I look forward to getting it so much! Also it's a nice place with friendly service and good prices :)
We stopped in at 7:30pm. As we were about to start getting a cup they closed up all the toppings. They did not tell us they were closing early. Only one or two of the ice cream machines worked, not sure if they were purposely turned off or they were all out.
Lots of selection. Decently priced.
