Food was fresh and tasty, but very small portions for the cost. I paid over $20 for the vermicelli noodle salad with pork and $9 for the spring rolls with pork.
Love the food! For some reason Norvary was under my radar. I regret not knowing about the restaurant sooner! The food I had was spectacular! I ordered the Shrimp and Beef Shank Ramen. It was delicious. I will be back in Winona next month and I will have to order from here again!

I was instantly overwhelmed by some kind of candle, cologne or essential oil. It smelled nice, but I could taste it with my food. It gave me a head ache. The drinks were a little expensive but honestly the best part of the lunch.
I ordered a chicken bánh mì. It was okay. The bread seemed a little less than fresh and the toppings were skimpy for a $13 sandwich. My husband got the short rib and jumbo shrimp ramen. The broth was great, but the ramen legit looked and tasted like block ramen. Nothing wrong with it, but the ramen was $18.
It's a really pretty and trendy restaurant. I can tell they take a lot of pride in the decor. It wasn't bad. It just wasn't enjoyable enough of a meal to justify the price. I probably would have enjoyed it better as take out.

My husband and I finally made it to Norvary after several coworkers couldn’t stop raving about it—and I have to say, they were absolutely right. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with such warmth and hospitality. The space is cozy and inviting, with a calm, peaceful vibe that made it easy to relax and enjoy our evening.
I ordered the beef pho and my husband got a grilled pork vermicelli bowl, and both were absolutely delicious—so fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The broth in the pho was rich and aromatic, and you could really taste the care that went into it. We also tried a Vietnamese iced coffee and a taro boba tea—both were amazing treats that we’ll definitely be back for.
What really impressed us was how clean and thoughtfully run the place is. You can tell the owners truly care about quality and customer experience. I only wish we’d gone sooner!

I was surprised by Novary, I am vegan and eat a lot of Southeast Asian food, but this place had a vegan soup different from any I have had before. A lot of vegan soup bases just don't hit the same as meat based ones, but that was certainly not the case here.

Wow, I just had an incredible meal at Novary Vietnamese restaurant, and I'm already planning my next visit! I tried their special, the Cajun Shrimp Rice Bowl, and it was an absolute revelation. While not spicy, it was bursting with flavor – incredibly garlicky and wonderfully decadent. The shrimp were large, plump, and perfectly cooked, a true testament to the quality of ingredients.
To complement my meal, I had their Vietnamese Milk Coffee, and it was equally impressive. Made with sweetened condensed milk and half and half, it was delicately sweet and incredibly rich – the perfect pick-me-up!
Beyond the amazing food and drinks, the restaurant itself is new, impeccably clean, and charmingly decorated. I especially appreciated their commitment to sustainability; they thoughtfully asked if I wanted a straw instead of just providing one, and having washable individual towels in the bathroom was a fantastic touch.
Novary truly exceeded my expectations. If you're looking for delicious Vietnamese food with a unique twist, a beautiful ambiance, and a restaurant that cares about the environment, look no further. Highly, highly recommend!
