Ate here last night with a large group and had a wonderful experience. Bartender and server were kind and attentive. Ordered the cod sandwich and it was delicious. Thanks for a great night out!

Overall not too bad except $14 for a rather average burger was not great value. The fries were awesome, about the best I've ever had. The pickle however was not good. Should make your own from scratch. The server was incredibly nice and deserves to be commended. We did have close to a 30-minute wait which seemed to be a bit long but not too bad. Probably will not come back mostly because of the overall value but it's not a bad place.

We were seated right away, however, we waited 30+ minutes for two burger/fries orders. The meat was so overcooked, they weren't the slight bit juicy. One burger was so well-done it was black, and both meals were only luke warm. Carmelized onions were also missing on the mushroom and swiss. The burger was so dry that I tried to add a little mustard. Also, the burgers were smaller than typical burgers anywhere else, yet $15 and $17. Don't waste your time or money here!

We stopped at River City, Sat. Oct 4, 2025, around 900pm. We wanted a drink and an appetizer. I asked for a Spotted Cow tap, which they didn't have. My son asked for a Pineapple Carbliss, which they also didn't have, even though it was pictured in our booth. I got a Margarita, and he got a Lack Cherry Carbliss. I ordered the chips and salsa, one son got wings, and the other son ordered cheese curds. The server comes back later, says we only have a skeleton crew working, so you can't order cheese curds, and we're out of them anyway. Then he ordered onion rings, and the server says we don't have those available either. I couldn't believe it. That was 4 items, not available, three which were advertised. When we came in, the hostess said it was a limited menu, but even the limited menu was limited. My son ended up with Mac and cheese bites. We waited a long time, and it ended up costing $66.00 for 4 drinks, and 3 appetizers.We left an almost $10.00 tip, but will never return.

Me and my wife's sirloin were completely 2 different sizes, mine was atleast double hers. When I pointed it out, the server tried dismissing it at first. I had to put both sirloin next to each other just for her to agree on the size difference, to which we did get a new one that was of similar size. However the whole scenario was abolutely ridiculous and would never happen in a self respecting restautant.

Based on service alone I like coming here. The wait staff are so nice :) also the River City Sauce for the wings tastes like the old Jim Beam Sauce from Green Mill, absolutely delicious
The servers were wonderful!! The adult mac and cheese was very good, really rich, took most home for later! The kids enjoyed their food, had pizza and Kraft mac n cheese. Reasonable cocktail/beer menu. The environment was cute, but pretty loud that evening to carry on a conversation (it was a busy friday night).

We went for the buffet and whoever it was who stocked the buffet reeked of Marijuana. I could smell them from across the dining room it was that bad. Halfway through we could hear people yelling from the kitchen as well. Food was rather dry and greasy. It had a funky smell to it as well. Our drinks were empty the whole time. I would've asked for a refill but the server was nowhere to be seen. This place used to be really good and we've given it many chances it just doesnt seem like it can bounce back.

Absolutely horrid, food was nasty. We could see into the kitchen and one of the cooks had what looks like the remains of a bird as a necklace. Kitchens music was loud and dirty. I would not take your kids to this place.

Server was friendly, warned us service was slow. My husband's food (boneless chicken wings) came out about 10 minutes before my chicken sandwich. I had ordered some soup which the server brought with the boneless chicken at least but my husband was done eating by the time I got my food. We felt the chicken was dry and the garlic parmesan sauce was underwhelming with lack of flavor.
