The food, especially the seasonal fish fry, is very good, and drinks are reasonably priced. Only four stars because the atmosphere leaves a bit to be desired. It is a bar, first and foremost, however, so I expect that's not a priority for them.

Sean did a great job with tending bar and serving as our waiter. Food was great and salad bar was basic but well stocked and looked fresh. Drinks were good and prices were lower than many places in today’s economy!

There was not many tables with people here when we got here. Before we ordered we asked how long it would take so we ordered and it's been almost 2 hrs before we got food. I think this is ridiculous. We will never come here again. Very rude people that works there.

A friend just moved to Winsted and highly recommended we eat here. She had tried it before and was impressed. Blue Note didn’t disappoint! Waitstaff was very nice, atmosphere reminded me of my youth and the food was really good. Great little gem of a restaurant.
