V's is a great little place in Winsted (they also have a location in Darwin, though I haven't been to that location). The owner is a very accommodating lady and works hard to have a great place for people to dine. There is not too much parking as it's all street parking, but it's not too far to walk if you need to park on the street. There is a small gravel lot in the back. I'm trying to review V's second restaurant, which is in Darwin MN.I'll assume their menus are the same. I ate here recently for the first time. I was planning on chicken or fish, but couldn't resist the nightly special of meatloaf and mashed potatoes. Very good comfort food! Only thing I'd change would be I'd love it if a green veggie could have been included...steamed broccoli perhaps? Next time I'll ask if I can get some sort of vegetable on the side. I frequent this special restaurant many times because I love the special air that is unique to this place. The personel is highly attentive and experienced. The service is extraordinarily rapid. Also, the food you eat is excellent. I ate there many times and I was always delighted. The payment is decent. I highly recommend this restaurant to to everybody.
