Usually play here a handful of times a season, but today was the last time. My brother-in-law and I were walking, and we knew with the holiday it was going to be slow. Paired with 2 singles who were either employees or members and they were very friendly. As expected, some short waits on almost every hold on the front 9, which was fine. Get to the back 9 and a couple of groups in front of us must’ve only played 9 holes as it was wide open. After the 11th hole the marshal comes up and makes a big deal about it being wide open in front of us and that we could play much faster. So from that point forward we felt like we had to hurry our shots and to walk fast between shots, despite the group behind us having either no wait or hardly any on every hole. Too $$$ to play a course feeling rushed or deal with rude staff, as there’s many other options in the East Metro. See the time on my Grint app pic to see we played considerably faster on the back 9. 🤦

Played here for my first time today. First off the whole staff was very helpful and very nice. The course was in snacking shale and the food was great. Overall 10/10 experience

My favorite golf course in Woodbury, Minnesota. Club house is nice, restaurant has good food, course is usually in great condition, carts are nice. Great course if you’re around Woodbury.

We were members here for a period of time and will likely still play occasionally because the location is convenient, but we ultimately joined another club that offers a much better overall experience, higher course quality, and far superior customer service.

Unfortunately, our interactions with pro Tom Wahl were consistently disappointing. As a representative of the club, guests who are paying significant money to play should be treated with professionalism and respect, and that was not our experience.

The convenience of this course was really its main advantage for us, but we’ve found that driving a little farther is well worth it for a more welcoming atmosphere and better service staff.

A lot of winter kill to be charging $115 (w/ cart) in May

Course is in awesome shape as good as most private courses.

$135 for fall golf is crazy. This course isn’t on the same level as Meadows or legends, yet they charge their summer prices in the fall?

Excellent service.

I had the chance to play Prestwick for the first time this week, and I can honestly say I fell in love with this course. From the moment we arrived, I was impressed by how beautifully maintained everything was. The fairways were in excellent condition, the greens rolled true, and the overall layout showed the kind of care and attention that makes a round of golf feel really special.

Each of the 18 holes offered its own unique challenge. The smaller greens, combined with the slopes and subtle breaks, demanded accuracy and kept me engaged the entire round. It’s definitely a course where strategy matters, not just distance, which made it both fun and humbling.

We went on a Thursday afternoon, and one of the things I really appreciated was how quiet it was. There weren’t many people out, so the pace of play was relaxed and enjoyable. On top of that, the rates were very reasonable—some of the best I’ve seen in the area—especially for the quality of the course.

The staff in the pro shop were also incredibly welcoming and helpful, which added to the overall experience. It felt like the kind of place that values golfers and takes pride in offering a memorable round.

In short, Prestwick is a hidden gem. Whether you’re a seasoned golfer looking for a challenge or just someone who enjoys a beautiful course at a fair price, this place deserves a spot on your list. I can’t wait to come back and play it again.

It has been years since I last played Prestwick. Just as I remembered - nice greens, the course is in great shape and Prestwick has some fun holes. Everything a golfer wants. Highly recommend.
