Sushi Tango Woodbury

I don’t come there alot but I wanted to get my sushi fix and oysters. Upon arrival I was told the oysters were out which was fine as we arrived an hour before closing so I decided to order other items with my guest. We ordered the fire cracker shrimp, takoyaki, beef house stir fry, wings, along with 3 sushi rolls.
1) the fire cracker shrimp made no sense as it was boiled shrimp stacked on 2 fried wontons with sweet chili sauce poured all over it.
2) the wings were more on the over burnt side.
3) the beef house vegetable dish- nothing special about it and honestly I’ve had better dish from other restaurants with more flavors and vegetables that doesn’t look like it was vegetables garnishes.
4) the sushi: we were told on 9:47pm before closing that they had ran out of rice to make sushi 🤔. But the table behind us received their sushi right after our server told us that.

We had 3 servers come and tell us the same thing that they would talk to the other servers but nothing was done about it besides offer to take the sushi orders off our tab (which was only right to do) and offer an additional appetizer. And continue to state that there was also 6 tables who were not getting sushi either. But this is resturant known for the sushi and it’s surprising that they didn’t know they ran out of rice but was still taking orders.

This place isn’t worth the time and money to eat at. Workers were actively taking shots and drinking. When we asked to keep the menu to order more food and takeout our server was extremely rude to us. She was also rude when bring our food and check as well. Took them about an hour to bring out our sushi. When we asked for the check, there were two charges for a credit card fee. We asked why and they said that if you add more food to your tab later then you’ll get charged again. Would never eat here again due to staffs.

If you want to eat good sushi, this is not a good opción, the service is very slow, and the place is dirty.

Horrible service. We got there and were told there are no tables, but after asking how long the wait would be they gave us a table that was open in the back. We sat for 30 minutes without a waiter. It took over 2 hours in total to get our check for dinner for 2. We never got any drink refills.

Placed an order for pick up around 9:30pm on a Sunday. There store hours says they open till 10pm. Drove there and got there before 10pm and all the lights were off and door was locked. We then get an email that our online pick up order was canceled!
How frustrating that a restaurant can’t simply abide by their posted store hours!
Sushi Tango do better and update your store hours to reflect what’s online and on your door!

They have excellent food. Their happy hour prices are reasonable for sushi. I had a 6-piece sashimi plate and two-hand rolls for under $30. Everything tasted fresh and it was a satisfying meal.
