I have been eating here for many many years. It's my favorite restaurant. Love the what I call "oxtail soup". It's is a must try! This is a family owned restaurant and Maria is so sweet.
The ladies taking care of the dining room seem to be very nice. The place is not your "usual" restaurant atmosphere. It is seat yourself and you take your ticket to cash register when you are ready to pay. They take cash and cards, unsure on checks. Salsa is thinner than we are used to, very spicy for me - my husband loved the flavor. Chips were homemade. Prices are very reasonable for portion size.
