The Thompson Mexican Grill is a pleasant surprise in South Dakota, offering fantastic Mexican food at reasonable prices with very friendly and attentive service. The retro building and Mexican ambiance enhance the dining experience. The menu includes delicious dishes like fajitas fundidas, Chimichanga, and flautas, with generous portions. While some found the rice and beans just average, many praise the great food and fantastic service, calling it better than nearby options. Overall, it's a great spot for flavorful food, a welcoming atmosphere, and a favorite for those who love trying anything on the menu.
