“Our first trip ever to the Balkan Treat Box started with a very helpful server coming up to us at where you order and handing us the menus and helping us decide what to get. It really helped us with our order. We ordered 3 of the most popular dishes as well as some hummus to start. Everything was so good really a symphony of flavors! We were checked on by the staff several times to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and everyone was very nice and helpful! Highly recommend. I was working a private event with Blues Fired Pizza on Saturday and as I was closing the truck door to begin prepping and service, a friendly warm voice from an older gentleman said “Hello!” From the side as he was talking to the event coordinator. After shift I stuck around to wander the area and wanted to check out their truck. I met Steve (that friendly warm voice that had greeted me hours before) and he asked me how I was and how we did. Asked me if I’d like to order anything. I was shocked because I didn’t want to assume I could also order- having not been part of the event. I asked if it was okay and he said “Sure! We have to take care of our own!” With a genuine smile on his face. I heard stories of this industry being a cut-throat business. I was more than willing to pay for my pizza but Steve assured me it was okay. (I did drop a tip in their tip can) 🙂 ***** I had the 8" Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza. Garlic/Ranch Sauce, Chicken, Bacon, Jalapeño, Cheddar Cheese and Mozzarella Cheese. (Pictured) It was AMAZING! I’m so tired of these big chain pizza places and I’m sooo happy that I went to Blues Fired Pizza’s truck! The dough was fresh, soft, and had that fire oven taste and crisp. You can tell the dough is made from scratch. I’ve driven past them numerous times in Kirkwood at their little pizza shack… but never stopped in. I’ll be glad to come by and order for sure! “Wasn't bad, I think 🧐 if you have kids excited for Taco's. This is not the best place . But overall, the atmosphere was clean, vibrant, and friendly. Super nice staff. Parking was free and a breeze.
