“I’ve ignored this place over the decades, assuming it was a typical dive bar. A friend assured me the food was great and I should try it. Understatement! Believe it or not I’m a hypercritical person but I could find no fault at Michael’s. During both of my visits, everything everyone ordered was cooked and seasoned beautifully. So far I can highly recommend the Greek salad (standout among the large number of Greek salads I’ve tried), the rack of lamb and the galaktoboureko - a house-made dessert consisting mainly of a fluffy custard and phyllo dough. Even the side vegetables and rice were wonderful. The beer and wine selection was good as well and I wrote down my wine to look into buying a bottle. The many servers were extremely busy and professional and our server Amy did a helluva job. Large rack of lamb with sides, entree-sized Greek salad, two beers, wine and dessert for only $80 -which for the quality of our dinner was quite a bargain. Generic name belies quality cooking and serving! Pass it on!“

“APOLLONIA is a fun place with great food! The staff is always attentive and friendly. The gyros and gyro salads are generous. The rest of the menu is full of fun stuff to try too. Every time I go there the it's been a clean and well kept dining space as well. Really hard to beat it!

“I have not attended a service here but come to the Friday luncheons on a regular basis. The food is delectable no matter what you get and the workers are amazing. They are friendly, helpful and will often chat with you if they have an opportunity. I have tried many of the offerings and one is just as good as the next. If you haven't tried if you really should as they have delicious food.“

“It's a good place to order and quickly get your food to go. Prices are very reasonable and food is good quality for fast food place. I liked beef with rice, steak was okay for the price, chicken fingers as good as in other places. Guys who worked that night there were very polite and worked fast. Place has also some small store in there.“

“Went for the first time last night. I got a Supreme classic Gyro. It was really good. I was talking to the guy behind the counter about other things on the menu. I got to work today and was telling one of the Bosnian ladies I work with about the place. She said she knows them and used to go to their father's restaurant down by Bevo Mill when the owner of Affton Gyro was a child. I will definitely be going back.“
