The most authentic Italian beef in St. Louis. I was immediately optimistic when they asked the right questions (sweet or spicy, dipped or dry), and when the sandwich came out I knew it was legit! I’m a longtime Chicago transplant in Stl and I’ve waited 20 years for a place like this. Go now!
Great little sandwich shop!Went and tried the Italian beef dipped it was great!Make sure to try the tots they are super great lots of flavor and very unique.
Finally made my way down to Mikes. My wife has been and said the garlic parm fries might be her favorite fries in STL. Got to say they are definitely up there. Also got a side of cheese sauce for them which was really good too. Ordered the philly cheese steak which has tender, thinly sliced steak, gooey melted cheese and sautéed onions, all nestled within a soft, fresh roll. Really enjoyed it. Will be back to try a different sandwich!
