I heard about this place from one of my local Springfield breweries and decided to make a trip to Alba. My friend and I stopped in on October 31st—Halloween night—and the atmosphere was awesome. Great environment, great people, and everyone was incredibly welcoming.
We couldn’t decide what to try, so we each ordered a flight of 10. The price was great, and honestly, I enjoyed all of them. The ones that really stood out were The Familia, Honey I Shrunk the Clash, Tiff Toff, and Dyer Maker. We also happened to catch their weekend special—the Ecto beer—and it was fantastic.
We met the owners, Nate and Tiff, and they were super friendly and genuine. I highly recommend this brewery. It’s a total hidden gem just outside of Joplin.

Awesome place have a great time and love the service good.music too i don't drink but my girl loves the number 2 there forget the name off top of my head but its good stuff good food passing thru often as well recommend visiting

Custom brewery with several types of grog to thirst your quench. If you're ever in the area, I highly recommend stopping in for a pint.

We have enjoyed every beer we’ve tried at Beard Engine! They have many different types of beer so there’s definitely something for everyone. (I’ve never been much of a beer drinker and they always have something I enjoy). Just in case beer is totally not your thing they also have wine. It’s a laid back, relaxed environment. Staff is always super friendly and helpful. They now have the Alba Press which has a small menu of sandwiches- they are incredible!! They frequently have live music & other fun events. Plus family & dog friendly!!
This place is really awesome and we look forward to our next visit!!

August 9th 2025 Everyone from the owners Nate & Tiff who were just awarded the Best in the Four States Winner Brewery/Distillery, the bartender Lindsey and all the patrons were very friendly. Sitting inside striking up a conversation was easy, walking through the brewery everyone said hi ! Live music on the patio was provided by Erin Detherage (Dr. Shred) once you listen to her play you understood. She also was the musical accompaniment for Karaoke and every singer had the appreciation of the patrons behind their performance. Right next to the patio was Creek Crew BBQ and Catering their great BBQ and friendly service is second to none. It was a treat that a new and upcoming desert vender had great Cheesecakes that was a big hit! I'll be back this Friday August 15th 2025 and Creek Crew BBQ and Catering and the Cheesecake will too!

Phenomenal place! Super friendly people and welcoming atmosphere. The beer was fantastic and that especially included the NE IPA.
Will most definitely return to this lil treasure tucked away in Alaba, MO.
