I have gotten Asian takeout from different places in Springfield on the way home after work and finally we decided to try Lucky Star in Ash Grove where we live. I am sorry that we haven't tried it before. By farits the best.
What a pleasant surprise! We stopped by on a Saturday afternoon thinking we would just give it a try, and wow...the food is absolutely excellent! We had the Vietnamese egg rolls, they were even better than we expected. We tried the cashew chicken, and again, it was top tier. My GF had the Pork Fried Rice, and although it wasn't bad, it really seemed to need a sauce of some kind. It seemed a little bland. However, we really hit the jackpot with the General Chicken! Came in last night, and was a little hesitant at first because I heard false rumors about this establishment but was overall pleased with the service! Waitress was super friendly. Unfortunately, my order took a little while to receive because it was pretty busy for a little bit while I was there.
