Great wine and view but I expected more when you serve brunch. $50 for my wife and I for just breakfast items no lunch items at "Brunch". I was told lunch items would be served after breakfast ran out. Most of the food was great but that sausage gravy tasted "different", I can't put my taste buds on the flavor. Mimosas were strong.
During our last day of riding on the Katy Trail we stopped at Mt Pleasant Winery and it was so nice. We had an excellent lunch at the Cafe and then some wine tasting before heading back on the trail. Only regret was we couldn’t spend a longer time there.
On Mount Pleasant’s campus are the Crush Lounge, Appellation Café, hand carved cellars dating back to the mid 1800’s, a large, elegant Tasting Room, and a beautiful event venue.
There's live music on weekends, on the huge patio overlooking the river valley.
The view is breathtaking, there is lots of shaded outdoor seating under full grown trees... when there's a breeze it's very comfortable on a warm day.
They do offer private tours of the campus and winery, we did not do this, but would like to try it next trip out. I think it would be very interesting.
We went during the week for lunch, which was nice and not crowded at all...I hear it's packed during weekend hours. I tried the London Broil with au-jus and kettle cooked chips. It was "ok", but nicely priced. I'll try a different lunch item next time.
There's alot to see and enjoy at this winery. Very nice place.
I haven’t been here in a few years and I barely recognized it! In fact, I didn’t recognize it until I stepped into the tasting room, which remains largely unchanged. But most of the property has undergone huge renovations in recent years, most notably being painted pink.
The tastings are $10 for 4, or $15 if you want to keep the glass.
I came here after first stopping at Blumenhof and Augusta Winery. This was okay, but my least favorite of the three, despite having the best views. The wine was just okay and the tasting lacked the personal touch that the others had.
I like their port wine I have to say it's one of the best but our last visit there was not so good we spent almost $300 on wine and the transaction was done wrong we discovered it the next day they took to much out of our bank we have called several times to get our money back but they ignore us and they admitted to over charging us it's ashame probably won't be going back for a while and I've noticed not much activity there especially for a Saturday
Love the wine ,and Jack is always so attentive when we come in , Glad we became wine club members
Jack is the best. Wine is very good. Vignoles and Villagio are good whites. Norton and Cab Sav are good as well. Mt Pleasant is known for their ports. Make sure to have a port shot.
I’ll never be back. The prices for wine are outrageous. Don’t charge California prices in a Midwest town. Completely unacceptable.
Enjoyed listening to the Colmon Highs Project featuring Adrienne
The Miss Augusta lunch Cruise was awesome

We planned an event for my friend at Mt Pleasant this past weekend. It was almost everyone’s first time there and we had a blast. We were met with such kindness and hospitality from all of the staff. The patio was gorgeous and the view with the fall colors was stunning. Shout out to Karen for going above and beyond for us. And to Jack for making our wine tasting so fun & educational! The wine was also amazing!! I can’t wait to return to this beautiful winery!
They have an excellent selections of wine - from dry to sweet, red and white. We also loved our pizza both regular and gluten free.
Visited Mount Pleasant prior to Miss August River Tour. The oldest winery in Augusta, Founded in 1859 ??Pros:➕ Friendly Staff➕ View from the patio➕ Wine selection➕ Entertainment/Live Band➕ Historic SiteConsiderations:➖Need better signage where people should meet for the Miss Augusta Shuttle➖ Staff at the front desk (there was a line of us wondering if that is where we meet) No one came. Minimally, add a pop up message.➖Expand the grab and go snacks when you get a glass a wine for the patio
Drove 30 miles and not open. Open flags and sign hours state they should be open and they were not. Very disappointed.
I recently attended the Vine to Wine tour and cannot rave about it enough! The guide/wine master was informative and entertaining. I appreciated his knowledge and passion about making wine. The wines and food were amazing and the overall experience made the day so enjoyable. Thank you for another great event, Mount Pleasant!
