Wow, what an incredible escape! The Inns at Saint Albans is truly a hidden gem, and I can't believe it's just a short drive from St. Louis. For our anniversary, we booked a king suite and were completely blown away. It was incredibly elegant, with a stunning lake view right from our room. The French doors opening onto the lakefront veranda were pure magic, and the huge walk-in shower was a dream come true.

These people understand “peaceful.” Quiet, tasteful small inn of 12 rooms.
Booked same day. Says call BEFORE booking if you can’t check in by 5:00 (we couldn’t.) Never reached anybody all day, so booked online anyway and noted that.
A friendly host called after booking and said no worries, we could do self-check-in after 5. He gave us lots of info about our stay...read full review
