Balducci Vineyards offers a beautiful view and atmosphere, perfect for a day trip from St. Louis. While the food is basic, the wine is exceptional, possibly the best in the region. The winery has a spread-out campus feel with a dance floor, often featuring live music that gets everyone dancing by 3 pm on good weather days. The menu includes artichoke poppers, potato soup, salads, and wings, which can be paired with their excellent wines, such as the Balducci Sonata. With plenty of outdoor seating, including a porch and areas around the barn, Balducci Vineyards is a great destination to enjoy good wine and food, making it a must-come-back spot.
