We had a beautiful wedding for 80 at The Venue at Stockton Lake, and Hog Tide Bar-B-Que catered the event. We chose them simply by googling bar-b-que places in the area and loved the food when we met with them for a consultation. They showed up right on time to the wedding, and they were all so friendly and professional. The food was attractively displayed and was hot and delicious! Have driven past this place for years and always said we should stop and eat, but it was never dinner time. Made the trip down specifically to have dinner and we are not disappointed! Hubby had brisket with onion strings and cole slaw. I chose the chicken with fried okra and mac n cheese. Everything was delicious. Meat was tender, with just the right amount of smoke. Service was quick and super friendly. Will definitely make the drive again.
The only complaint that I have is I couldn't eat it all! Very good food! The owner was there and proved to me that he really cared about us! The fact that he played football at Alabama University helped!
