“We had a beautiful wedding for 80 at The Venue at Stockton Lake, and Hog Tide Bar-B-Que catered the event. We chose them simply by googling bar-b-que places in the area and loved the food when we met with them for a consultation. They showed up right on time to the wedding, and they were all so friendly and professional. The food was attractively displayed and was hot and delicious! They cleaned up quickly and left the Venue kitchen better than when they arrived. I should mention that most of my brothers and sisters live out of state, and when they come to Kansas City, they always want to try a different Bar-B-Que place. It's a thing with them for the last 15 years, and then they critique it like they are food critics or something. My brother-in-law said this was probably the best bar-b-que he had ever had in his life. I had many guests talk about the food and how great it was, and where did we get that? My other brother talked about how moist the smoked chopped chicken was, and the chopped brisket was supreme. The baked beans and macaroni and cheese was also a big hit, and the corn bread melted in your mouth. Guest after guest brought up the great food as they said good night. The wedding was just as we hoped it would be: elegant, welcoming, and a great night for our friends and family. Hog Tide Bar-B-Que helped make that happen, and we are so glad we went with Hog Tide Bar-B-Que! I should also had the price was more than fair!!!”

“We are here right now. This place is full of life. A fund raiser for a family in need just ended. A band is currently playing, people dancing, talking, singing along and the pool tournament just started with handshaking, laughing and good fun.
I haven't even got to mention the monster burger which is why we stopped. It lived up to is hype and reviews. This hideaway is a gem 💎

“Food was delicious and the portions were plentiful. Chips were warm and salsa was fresh. The server was very friendly and attentive to our table. The only downside was the ac didn't seem to be functional and it was very warm inside.”

“This staff is always friendly and they work hard to make sure you’re happy. Today I accidentally ordered TB but sent it to the Republic store on accident. Manager in Aurora said no problem since you already paid we will just make it for you here and not charge you again. To me that speaks volumes as I couldn’t go to Republic to get my order. If you are writing bad reviews here maybe it’s not them, maybe it’s you. They have always treated me great here.”

“Be as specific as possible when ordering food if you like it a certain way. Like making sure your hotdogs are hot and you have fresh French fries. Mine were not fresh and my hotdog was not hot. Plus they drenched the hotdog in pickle relish. So be specific as to how you want your food.”

“I don't know the lady's name at the first drive-thru window on weekday mornings but she is great at her job! She's fast and efficient and super sweet every time! I have never had an issue with my order either.”

“Love this little hidden gem! You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I ordered grilled fish and it was one of the most delicious pieces of fish I have had in a restaurant. Moist, and well seasoned. But, no matter what you order, you must leave room for pie. Coconut cream is my favorite!! In addition to great food, the service is fantastic. They also have a nice sized party room for large groups.”

“Reason why I'm giving this a 4 star is cause the building was very very cold, like you can hang meet in the lobby and it took forever just to get out orders in but the food came out not long after and was hot and fresh and that made the wait worth it, still wish I had a jacket tho it was so cold I went home with a runny nose and leftovers”

“My sister and her husband took us to the Pickle Factory in Northern Indiana. I don't like pickles so I looked at other items. I bought 3 Wind & Willow mixes, Roasted Corn Chowder, Tomato Soup, and Lemon Cheesecake. These were so good! I made the last one tonight. All 3 were delicious!”

“First the travel center was clean with large parking lot with spotless restrooms and every polite associates in both areas. We did an online order and for the first time in years, our subs were 100 percent correct as ordered. A young girl and guy were there. Sorry I did not get names, but because of them we had about the freshest and best sub from subway ever!”
