How can you beat this small town Restaurant. The homecooked meals are always great and I have never left still hungry. Even if you have a little wait the food is always worth it. The staff are friendly. It's always nice to feel comfortable taking my kids in and never embarrassed like some places. And the dessert is always amazing. There is not many places left that still serve diner rolls and dessert with a meal. They always seem to have something unique on there menu as well....read full review
We go back and forth from Joplin and Springfield several times throughout the year and we are always finding places to eat along the way. We will definitely be stopping in here again to eat. This place has good food and very good service!

They serve the best warm rolls and honey butter! Doug, our server, was excellent and super friendly. The food was delicious, especially the smothered meatloaf and macaroni and cheese. Homestyle cooking at its best! Coconut cream pie is very tasty! This restaurant is a must try!
