“We enjoy coming here. Except for the continuous abundance of FLIES!! They need to purchase some decorative indoor fly killers, instead of new grind salt and pepper with name on the or new tech to take orders. Great they are being more updated but take care of patrons having to SHEW FLIES!!“

“I got the Fried Shrimp. Yes, they are hand breaded but with cornmeal or breadcrumbs which was way too salty and kept falling off of the shrimp. Perhaps butterflying them would help. The baked potato was decent size but way overcooked. The tough skin was inedible, and I love the skin. Cover with olive oil and generously cover in Kosher salt. 400 degrees for 45-55 minutes until tender. Next time I’ll try the catfish.“

“I was in the food biz for over 40 years, both corporately and as an entrepreneur, and this place is what makes America tick! Great food, nice portions, and really fair prices, not to speak of a homey atmosphere. This is like Cracker Barrel before they went corporate, and CB never had home baked pies and local ingredients like Alice and Irene's! Great buffets and special holiday offerings! Yummo!“
