“Had the pleasure of meeting Tony and Rosa today! Not only were they super friendly, but they are from the same area in Chicago that I’m from! Imagine that! What a small world. We both agreed that the number one thing we miss from home is the food and it was so nice to meet them and get a little taste of Chicago out here in beautiful Nixa. They sell tamales by the dozen, I can’t wait until tomorrow for lunch! Five star service, food, cleanliness, and owners! Stop by and say hello to Tony and Rosa anytime they would be glad to see your smiling face!“

“Julie G was an awesome server. A couple years ago we tried this place, had a poor experience, but this was an impressive 180 from that last visit. Julie greeted us at the door, took our drink order as we got seated. She was super on top of everything we needed, drink refills, extra dipping sauce, bottomless meal deal refills, and helped to close out our check proactively so we didn't have to wait to leave. Food was all really good, and for a family of 6 the bill was only $130.“

“We were just passing through Springfield and decided to try something different, it was the best food of our whole vacation. our waitress was funny and friendly, was very accommodating to our daughter, and the food.. was absolutely amazing. I felt like I needed a bumper sticker and tshirt after eatting at the Black Sheep and am equally as devastated it is 7 hours away from our house. We will be back!“

“I love this Culvers for dine-in. However, the people preparing drive-thru orders need to check their orders. I sat and waited quite sometime for my order, only to get home and see that there was no salad dressing for my chicken cashew salad. I had none at home. A dry salad is not that good. 🙁“

She started with a proper low pressure upsell of peach tea or raspberry lemonade then proceeded to meet every need we had before being asked. Give her a raise and a high-five.“

“We used Google to find a restaurant near us after an appt and this was the first listing. So glad we tried it! We got the chips and dips because I wanted to try the mango salsa. It was good and the queso was queso but the black bean was the star of that appetizer. We were there during the day and ordered the lunch portions even though full size portions were still available. I have no idea how much more you get with dinner but it has to be huge. We left so full. I got the rasta pasta with shrimp which was incredible. My husband ordered the tiki tacos with fish and said not only was it the best fish tacos he's ever had but it was the best coleslaw he's ever gotten at a restaurant. Then they offered us homemade keylime pie made with the owners mother's recipe. Like I said we was full but I ordered some to go. It was so creamy and refreshing. I'm so glad we found this place and will definitely be coming back.“

“Since the south Glenstone location in Springfield reopened have eaten there twice inside. Service was great. Food was good. Price was the same as before restaurant including bathrooms are clean. Called in a carry out today it was ready when I went to pick it up and still warm upon getting home realized there was a mixup in the order. Called and girl who answered gave me to I assume the manager who was very nice and understanding and offered to absolutely Fix it and even through in aside for my trouble. Only took 10 minutes to get the corrected order and it was very good. Would definitely recommend this location for dine in and carry out !“

My sandwich was just okay, could have used more sauce on it. The roasted vegetables were only sliced yellow squash swimming in butter in a small bowl. We sent that back. I suggest they provide a better description of their roasted vegetables. Meg our waitress did a good job and refunded the vegetables cost. We've been there several times and always enjoyed our meal, I hope this was just an off day.“

“My husband and I took our 4 kids out for dinner tonight and we were sat in Matt’s section. He was phenomenal. We don’t eat out often as a family (our kids are young and don’t like sitting still) and we couldn’t think of a time where we had even close to the level of service that Matt provided us. He kept all our drinks topped off, was engaging with our kids and so welcoming. Anything we needed he provided. It’s obvious he takes a lot of pride in his work! Kudos to Matt! We will be back!“

Besides being friendly and fun, she made helpful recommendations, kept my tea filled without being asked, and even brought a hot order of fries when my husband happened to mention the first order had arrived lukewarm.
