“What a gem! Great service, polite and attentive staff, menu options are plenty to satisfy the picky eaters, and their prices are very reasonable. Modern style dining area with plenty of seating options for small groups or larger groups of people. Will be back for sure!“
“Very good sized stand alone building. Not in a strip mall. Food was good as always. Service was very good. The bar area always had plenty of room for seating even on a busy Sunday morning. I’ve eaten at many First Watch restaurants around the country and so far, this was the most relaxing….“
“This place is a very unique experience. A must try if you ask me. No 20 page menu but many extraordinary selections. The staff was outstanding. The amount of treasures you can find is unbelievable. Whatever you do, get dessert... Take it home if you have to.“
“I absolutely loved my server! I came in hungry but left full and feeling like ☺️ it was a great day!Parking: I always find close parking! Never an issue!Kid-friendliness: I don't have kids of my own but I've seen other people's kids treated very well!Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance has easy nearby wheelchair access“
“We made a last minute reservation for 5:30pm on a Monday. We've been to a lot of steakhouses in big cities...this rivals any one of them and beats most of them. Not only was the food great, the service was above and beyond! We were seated immediately and served bread and mini banana nut muffins. Both were incredible (we almost turned down the bread starter but loved it so much we asked for a second serving). We ordered a dry gin martini and the Peachy Keen from the cocktail menu. Both were very good. We had the wedge salad and garbage salad (both half size). Both were great but the balsamic vinaigrette was too much on the vinegar side and not the best balance. We then each had a T-bone steak, the lyonnaise potatoes and a side of broccoli. We loved it and took some to go. I had the Wish Co Cabernet with dinner which was a good pairing. We shared the cheesecake for dessert. It was so good! If this were close to home, I'd return again and again! I can't emphasize how good the service was. The atmosphere was nice and we felt welcome despite being a little underdressed as tourists who spent the day out and about. Even the bathroom were well decorated, clean and smelled nice. Excellent experience!“
“Visiting the Springfield area from Texas and was skeptical about the Mexican food. Jose Locos was excellent! We shared the Mo Meat fajitas with shrimp, beef, chicken, and chorizo. If you’re traveling through, try it out and it won’t disappoint.“
“This is a perfect little diner! When I came in it was packed and I still got seated within 15 minutes. The staff was locked in and doing amazing, Kenny and Sophie specifically were awesome, very kind and quick to accommodate and serve. Food was cooked to perfection, fruit tasted fresh, and I walked away full.“
“First time at the new Glenstone location. Loved how they brought the original bar, barstools and a bit of the original flooring with the barstools over from the old location. Also enjoyed some of the familiar eclectic decor & pictures. Looks really good guys! Now on to the Food: It's no surprise we had amazing food as always. And the employees were wonderful and cheery. Can't put a price on great employees these days. We left Happy,Very full( couldn't finish my chili cheese fries), and satisfied. Will be back sooner rather than later next time we are in town. Only thing I'd change is bring back the Casperito. It's my favorite and I always used to order it when we'd go to the old Caspers location.(2 pics attached of my hubby & mines recent visit to the new location AND one pic of my son and I's last visit the last week the old location was open.)“
“Brisket sandwich came out hot, tender, smokey, juicy and seasoned perfectly. Okra for the side is well seasoned. Highly recommend this place, not for their drinks per say, as the sweet tea tasted like sugar water with no tea flavor and the drink size isnt really worth it, but the barbecue is immaculate. The barbecue makes up for the drink situation in every aspect. My favorite barbecue spot for a while now“
“This is one of Springfield‘s best restaurants. The food is excellent and it is a very large restaurant so it’s easier to get a table. It’s a little loud near the bar but other than that it’s a wonderful experience.Parking: Parking can be a little difficult to find as there are other businesses near it, sharing the same lot. The regulars tend to make spots near the front door, which make it difficult to maneuver around happy hour.“
“I had the best gluten free cauliflower crust pizza with cheese and mushrooms. The mushrooms were sautéed in a delicious seasoning and placed on top the cheese. Everyone was very friendly and seemed to work as a team. I can’t wait to go back!!“
“I love blacksheep but tonight my food was just not good and it was so disappointing because we usually never have any complaints. I got the loaded fries and they were not very good which getting them to go happens but the "pulled pork" was just huge chunks of extremely tough meat I could barely chew.“
“Wow... I was not expecting this. It's been a while since I had some good catfish. I knew once there was a little wait on my food it was going to be good. This is not fast food. Even the fries were good. Flavorful food, great service, and I'm ready to try other menu options. Please try them out!! Thank “
“PHENOMENAL!! Incredible home style cooking, this place is always packed with people enjoying Jo's food! We were in a bit of a time crunch, we ordered, got our food, and was able to pay in less than 10 minutes! Awesome service, and even better food“
“I have no better way to describe Civil Kitchen than just a really cool place. The restaurant is beautiful decorating and has a hip, welcoming vibe. Food was delish and the menu had the perfect balance of classic comfort American and dishes with a twist. We didn’t have any drinks but pursued their drink menu and they seemed to have a really fun menu.Parking: Minimal street parking outside the restaurant but there is a large public lot about 2 blocks away“

“I got the roast beef sandwich, the big one, and it was very big.It was good. However, the prep package barbecue sauce was not tasty. At all.. They need to make their own signature barbecue sauce, in my opinion. But opinion s are like but holes ,everyone got one.The staff was friendly.I heard the chili is really good and will try it next.“
“Upon arrival during Dinner . We were greeted by 2 people. Very pleasant and friendly. Seated immediately. We had 5 adults. Server was very knowledgeable and answered any questions we had. He had waters at the table within 1 min of seating. When we ordered drinks. The rest of the table ordered soda. I ordered unsweetened tea. He tried to steer me away from the “unusual” tasting tea. I said it was ok as I don’t drink sodas . He was right ? I drank it anyway.Ordered 5 appetizersRueben Rolls - most excellent taste just like a RuebenScottish eggs - unique flavor. Very crispy outside and the sauce made it even betterPanko Fried shrimp - can’t go wrong with perfectly cooked shrimpTriple dip - This was good. But could’ve been better . Queso was on point. Salsa was good. Was wanting more spice tho. Guacamole was my only disappointment. No salt or spice and had a very distinct lemon/orLime taste.Fried pickles Breaded fried pickles - so good . Im not a fan of the sandwich style pickles for fried . However these were top notch.Entrees includedAlfredo Mac with Shrimp x2 - So creamy and tender shrimp . - Huge PortionsPub Mac - The best Mac I’ve ever tasted . You can taste all the different kinds of cheese. Pasta perfectly cooked and enough to take home and enjoy later .Fish n Chips . This place Fried Cod rivals the best around. In a beer battered fish n chips competition. Hands down this would win. I love my fish. The show string fries are on fire. Perfectly seasoned and delicious. Slaw was slaw (not a fan of slaw) but was delicious, not too much dressing and not dry.El Dublin chicken and Chorizo with the house made queso . OMG . Served with tortillas.Overall the food is very well prepared . Service was top notch. He went above and beyond every step of the way. This place was packed and he never missed a beat. The young adults ordered soda floats for dessert. Very interesting combinations .Chocolate ice cream and Dr PepperCookies n cream with cherry cokeVanilla and cherry coke .We will be back. On top of everything. The seat we had was by the big window over looking the street. Dinner and entertainment ?Pictures are not the best. ( we were hungry )Parking: It is Downtown, during peak times it is hard to find Close parking. However, 1 block away is a parking garage.“
“If you like cheese steak sandwiches or burgers and fresh fries you will love the food here. I found this place by accident and have been 3 times in the past week. I highly recommend, the guys are super friendly and thankful for each and every customer and it shows. The daily lunch specials are great portions and priced very reasonable.“
“Went here when on vacation with my girlfriend and her niece. The staff was nice and amazing. The food was delicious. Cool part, they had those kid coloring papers. Little Gremlin enjoyed it. Highly recommend going the farmhouse skillet hash. I believe it was called, was absolutely delicious!! The purple haze was so good my girlfriend took one to go.“
“Went late morning on a Friday husband had the ultimate breakfast and I had the turkey, avocado and bacon sandwich they both were delicious highly recommen both dishes. Our waitress was friendly and very attended to our needs.Parking: Large parking lotKid-friendliness: Kids eat free signs (not sure when)Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking marked and wheelchair accessible“
“We thought the service was a little slow at first... It was lunch rush hour and there were a few big parties when we first arrived, but then things picked up for us. The whole staff was super friendly and efficient! Good was very good. Lots of options. A little on the pricey side for lunch, but we did get appetizers and shared a dessert.Parking: We parked in a lot about half block away. There is also street parking which was crowded due to time if day.“
“Bar area to the left. Booths for dining on the right. Great chef salad and grilled chicken salad.Vegetarian options: There are no-meat salads available.Dietary restrictions: They will accommodate if possible.Parking: Plenty of spaces outside.“
“Wednesday the 3-21-2024 was my first time ever coming here and it was a wonderful experience. The food was awesome. I had an avocado chicken sandwich with fries and the dip to go with the fries was oh so good the owner served us and he was very friendly and made us feel very welcomed. We had just been at his flea market behind shopping so that’s how we found out about the place so wonderful wonderful experience and I will be back and I highly recommend it. Roy“
“The food is amazing here, we won't get burgers or onion rings anywhere else. I love their root beer float, we love their ice cream - However, we do sometimes have issues with our ice cream being off with our toppings, but still delicious regardless.“
“We went downtown looking for a late night place with food and music. We came to the right place. We didn’t realize we needed to call ahead but the hostess was gracious and seated us.The locals appeared to have fun, and the music was a good mix of popular tunes. We had cheese pizza, chips and queso, and Korean bbq (jackfruit)bowl. All were delicious, flavorful, and had great texture! We are not vegetarians, but the meal was very sustaining and satisfying. Even the cheese dip has me craving it even now! The scorpion bowl is a shareable drink that I’m sure will be a big hit.Vegetarian options: Plenty.“
“We got fried mushrooms as an appetizer and they were to die for 10/10 I loved the fried mushrooms, also got the Chicken Hawaiian Club it was huge but so amazing and very much worth the $12 and a plus was the staff was amazing and so nice to us 10/10 experience will definitely be going back “
“Honestly pretty darn good! Wait time was reasonable on a Saturday at 10am, serving staff was great and food was out in a great amount of time and rather good. A little bummed that the biscuits were dry with it being their namesake, but everything else was bomb!Parking: In front of the restaurant there is a Wendy's and a few driving lanes through the parking lot that are weird, so we had to park at the back of the lot due to the crowd.Kid-friendliness: Kids menus with crayons and about 5 breakfast and 2-3 lunch options. My picky eater didn't have an issue finding something to eat.“
“I just had absolutely the best chicken fried steak of my life from this restaurant, I ate every bite it was so good, and that's a very rare thing for me to do, it was made with real tenderized steak and was very tender with delicious flavor, and the service for take out was very fast, the staff was very friendly, it was “
“We stopped by today for lunch! Our server was fantastic! She was so attentive and friendly! The subs and crab cakes were delicious! The banana cake was phenomenal! Loved all the cross country and track pictures! Brought back memories of my High School years! We will definitely be back!!“
“Great place to come if you are looking for a quick bite (although they do not serve fries, only hash browns). Glowing atmosphere, fun place, everybody talks to everyone (including customers all friendly). Our server, although I didn't get her name, was great and even sang songs from the jukebox.“
“Great food. Good service. There is usually a little wait time but that is to be expected at a popular place.Parking: Usually busy so parking can be full.Kid-friendliness: It's very kid-friendly as it is a family restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: Is wheelchair accessible.“
“A little late night fun for us. Went to play darts. We had basically the entire place to ourselves. For a Friday night it was very quiet. Staff said they get busy when there are major sports games happening. Service was great and food was good. We made our own fun ?“
“After visiting last week I decided to come back today. I brought a friend who had never been before and it's safe to say we will both be back. I remembered to take a couple pictures of the food today. Serving size was excellent and the food was just as good as last time. Friendly staff and prompt service. I may have just found my new favorite place in Springfield for a quick bite.“
“I really like the food here.So far, I have been to Culver's in Branson, Springfield, and Flagstaff, and they were all excellent!I may be a little bit playing favorites here, too, because my maiden name was Culver. LOL!??Please build a Culver's in Tulsa!“
“I've been wanting to try the Cod Sandwich and for the money it's a great value, even for those with larger appetites. I went through the drive through so can't say anything about the inside but as it was noon, the wait for my food was probably longer than other hours.“
“We showed up on a night that the place was packed. There were no seats, but there was a table we were able to stand and eat at. The food was awesome, and the band playing did an excellent job of portraying Fleetwood Mack. The house was packed, and the people there were of all ages. It was definitely a great night and we will definitely be going back.“
“The DOP is definitely a 5 stars experience. Been here a few times and it's always a good vibe. My first visit there was a live band that did not disappoint. Went there another time had karaoke that had no restrictions on what can be sung (unlike other popular karaoke joints). The complimentary billiards is also major plus to the great experience. The bartenders and servers are always on their A game making sure everyone's satisfied.“
“Me and my family had a pleasant experience dinning at Longhorn. Our waiter James was very nice and adhered to our needs well. For it being my family and my first time here we really enjoyed it and would definitely dine here again. The food was great as well as the service.“
“Springfield Brew Co is one of my go to places in Springfield. Excellent food, great atmosphere--I love the upstairs outdoor seating--incredibly friendly staff and a huge menu of drink selections. They give back to the community, too, through the SBC Bike Shop at the Fairbanks--they repurpose donated bikes and make them available to anyone needed a bike for transportation or just to enjoy riding again. Bikes for all ages! Very cool place in every way.“
“Great spot for a drink and a snack. They have a huge beer selection and great German themed food. They sometimes run out of things, but they let you know. Lots of great games and even lawn games inside. My wife is a ski ball junkie. It is buried behind Zakiya and can be tricky to your first time there.“
“Excellent place to have breakfast. Or pie! The BLT is also a winner. I had a skillet the last time I was in, and it was very, very tasty. I hadn't been in Village Inn for several years, and I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was.“
“Best burnt ends you’ll ever have. It’s a must stop in Springfield, MO and we’ve driven an hour + to make ourselves be in town to eat here when passing anywhere close by. We love the sweet potato fries, fried okra, baked beans, etc, but everything is good.Kid-friendliness: Our kids love eating here. Great seating upstairs to watch traffic & the scrolling sign from Bass Pro Shop.“
“Husband & I met a friend here for drinks and a late lunch. Waitress was wonderful. Drinks were good & beer was cold. Food was pretty good as well.Everyone in our party of 4 said they had good food. Only downside was the French fries came out a bit soggy & greasy, although they tasted good.“
“We had the cashew chicken, which was fine, and a burger and fries, also fine. There’s a short craft beer list, along with national brands. Historic building with tin ceiling and mosaic tile floor.Full of Gen Z. 70s music. Kind of funny.Beer came in a plastic glass. Nicer plastic, but still….Good enough service.Parking: Street parking. We got a space not too far away.“
“This place is OUTSTANDING!! The food is delicious, larger portions, very reasonable prices, and most importantly, service is TOP NOTCH! KENDRA is an amazing server! We have now been back twice in one week, and just on our second visit last night, Kendra greeted us with a big happy welcome!!!“
“This restaurant offers great Italian food with the ambiance of a restored historical building downtown. They could make it in St. Louis, where there are there are many great Italian restaurants. Highly recommend.Wheelchair accessibility: Most of the seating is on the ground level with accessibility to many tables“
“Nice, comfortable beds. We invaded the lobby and bar area before and after a wedding. Peg was so friendly and accommodating. She tried to dim the lighting as best as she could, put on the football game we liked, and let us play music! Too hot to take advantage of the outside area - darn. Would stay again. Bring a nightlight if you do to avoid bring bathroom lighting during night.“
“I HAVE to give a shout out to Alysia (I'm so sorry if I spelled your name wrong). She was the ONLY bartender serving drinks/food for the bar AND while catering to my friends dirty 30th birthday party. She did AMAZING! But that's not all, the teamwork witnessed at this establishment was clearly noted. I saw an Expo running food, the manager (I think) even pitching in running food. I'm a server and this teamwork literally made me wonder if y'all are hiring, for realz. Thank you so much for a fun night and making my friends dirty 30th birthday party so special. You guys are killing it!“
“I love blacksheep but tonight my food was just not good and it was so disappointing because we usually never have any complaints. I got the loaded fries and they were not very good which getting them to go happens but the "pulled pork" was just huge chunks of extremely tough meat I could barely chew.“
