Server Astrid did a great job thoughout the meal; personable, quality checks, tbl manicured, drinks refilled. Food temps and quality great! Owner Avid seen in the dining room the whole time actively greeting and seating guests, and assisting the staff. Well done everyone--this is our new place!!”

Then when confronted the girl lied said she asked the color and that my daughter didn't look pregnant. When they were orderd the guy clearly stated it was on the order form to not say anything. Although the cupcakes are good they have lost my business. On top of ruining the day they made her pay. Do better”

“We used Google to find a restaurant near us after an appt and this was the first listing. So glad we tried it! We got the chips and dips because I wanted to try the mango salsa. It was good and the queso was queso but the black bean was the star of that appetizer. We were there during the day and ordered the lunch portions even though full size portions were still available. I have no idea how much more you get with dinner but it has to be huge. We left so full. I got the rasta pasta with shrimp which was incredible. My husband ordered the tiki tacos with fish and said not only was it the best fish tacos he's ever had but it was the best coleslaw he's ever gotten at a restaurant. Then they offered us homemade keylime pie made with the owners mother's recipe. Like I said we was full but I ordered some to go. It was so creamy and refreshing. I'm so glad we found this place and will definitely be coming back.”

“I called Mrs Gilmore's twice, and emailed once about a group of about 15 women who wanted to have lunch at Mrs. Gilmore's. No one answered my email, and neither time I called was the need for a reservation mentioned. When we arrived, they evidently mistook our group for another one who was also lunching there that day. Once the error was discovered it became evident they were not prepared for our group. We were made to feel as if we'd done something wrong. They seated us in another area, our drink orders taken and delivered, and we never saw our server again. Finally, after one of us had to leave in order to get food before going to work, we decided to go elsewhere. A neighboring restaurant was able to accommodate us quickly without fuss, despite being short handed. We had our food within a surprisingly short time. Thank you, Big Momma's. We'll be back.”

I wanted to give a shout out to one particular employee named Dakota who really made the whole experience. Every single child that came in he made sure they had a crown. He was constantly busy if he wasn't taking orders, was refilling things, if he wasn't refilling things, he was cleaning. While we were there, I saw him two different times come in and clean tables in the play place as people were leaving. I saw him greet customers. Ask if everything was okay. Ask if they needed anything else. He was doing a super wonderful job and was great with all the customers and the kids and his co-workers.”

That is simply a double cheese burger with cheese and chilli on it. Ok the chilli is what they are famous for ...chilli dogs, burgers, frito pies and such. And I have to say, what shows up at our table. I was shocked and a little confused. I will tell you that this was so good, I kept eating until I was breathing hard. The fries were hand cut and a little on the dark side (Perfect) atmosphere..outstanding Service...top notch. I absolutely recommend this place and will take friends and family when they visit. any way as a recent transplant to Springfield, I have to agree with the nostalgic love of this place”

Called in a carry out today it was ready when I went to pick it up and still warm upon getting home realized there was a mixup in the order. Called and girl who answered gave me to I assume the manager who was very nice and understanding and offered to absolutely Fix it and even through in aside for my trouble. Only took 10 minutes to get the corrected order and it was very good. Would definitely recommend this location for dine in and carry out !”

From working out details with me, to even discreetly whispering to me from the host stand when we entered to keep the surprise. They were so mindful for every detail of our evening. “I am a retired Director of Operations for a Burger King franchise in Arizona. I found this little DQ when I moved to Springfield. I was immediately impressed by the work ethic of the entire crew of this restaurant. I would have loved to have had any of them in my restaurants. The food is always consistently good and the restaurant is always clean. Not just at the surface level but deep clean. I’m always made to feel like a valued guest. I hope whoever owns this location values this crew. Have you DQ’d today? Try this place first, you won’t regret it”

“I contacted the manager at the Kimbrough location before Thanksgiving to request an order that would be our Thanksgiving dinner. My son recently lost his wife and this was his first Thanksgiving without her (she was an incredible lady), so there was a lot of sadness in our hearts. So, because my son loves Firehouse Subs, that's what I wanted to do for him for Thanksgiving. The manager didn't even hesitate, she was more than willing to provide the sandwiches and she provided the ingredients so we could make our own sandwiches on Thanksgiving Day. When she called to tell me the food was ready for me to pick up Wednesday evening, she told me something I did not expect! She did not charge me for the food and it was such an extremely nice thing for her to do, it made me cry. When I told my son what Firehouse Subs did for us, he and I both cried, because it was such a kind, unexpected gesture and it helped so much when we were dealing with the loss of his wife during the holidays. It gave me some hope that there are good people still left in this world. Thank you to the Manager personally for this simple act of kindness you did for my family; and thank you to the entire staff for all of their help and patience when I was getting this ordered.”

“We ate at the Olive Garden on west Sunshine and our server was Dontay. I have to say, that was the best service me and my girlfriend have ever had. Between Dontay and Courtney there was great food, lots of laughs and great conversation. We will definitely be going back and will ask to get the same server.”

“My husband and I recently visited Springfield as an early birthday week getaway for myself. I hadn't planned any place to eat out at, nor did I have any ideas in mind. I was going through places that popped up near our hotel on google maps to see if something stood out. I came across OMO and I saw they had Ramen. I LOVE Ramen! I decided that was where we would have dinner the moment I found the restaurant on google.

I will say, it was about a 20 minute drive from our hotel but it was totally worth the drive. They were going to close at 9pm and we arrived around 8:20 pm. It was a monday night so it wasnt as busy as I thought it would be. I felt bad for getting there so late but the staff was so nice and welcoming and many people came in after us.

They are an all female staff and work as a team. We did not have a reservation and did not wait more than a minute to be seated which was awesome as we were starving from all of our day activities. One of the waitresses took us to our table, took our drink order and informed us that they work as a team so there wouldn't be a specific waitress with us, instead any one of them would be able to help us throughout our evening. My husband and I ordered our Ramen bowls and waited for about 10 minutes for the Ramen to arrive at our table.

The food was delicious. The Tonkatsu Ramen I ordered was made with such love and care. It was a flavorful broth with so many flavors coming through. The broth was so good I finished it all before the actuall noodles. I geniunely tasted like nothing I have ever had before. The pork that I chose with my Ramen was also carefully prepared; It was so soft that it melted in your mouth and was so flavorful. The taste reminded me of Mexican Chicharron but in a completly diffrent preparation method.

I was delighted with the service, the food and the over all feeling of home I got while being there was incredible. On a side note the girls also have OMO the cat robot that brings drinks, food or other things right to your table.

I feel like the prices are a bit steep. The prices almost make me want to go home, dig out my family cookbook, and ingredients - and whip out some classically good homemade cookies, which you honestly can't really beat.

These are okay, for being a lot of money. If you need a snack or dessert to share at a kid's game, or work function in a pinch, maybe consider Crmbl.

“So glad I found this place! The food was delicious and the service was incredibly fast and easy. Route 66 burger was cooked to perfection. The bacon and onions were an excellent touch to an already good burger. The hand cut fries were tasty with just the right amount of salt.
I did a to go order, but could’ve easily sat in the hotel lobby. There is plenty of seating at either the tables, bar, or high top table. there was a cool, upscale vibe, but not too swanky.
I will be coming back here again.”

Also got charged for games on the ziosk, I never played, and when I asked to have those taken off, she was very huffy. We had a table of 8, and she brought us like 6 breadsticks. Again, the waitress got uptight, when we asked for more... The food was great, service was not...”

“Great experience from the moment you walk in the door. Friendly staff, and a wide menu that includes even hand breaded cheese curds... With those, I recommend ditching the ranch in lieu of their salsa... Put it on the curds and eat it with a fork. Their Rey's chicken is fantastic. Grilled, seasoned chicken sliced and put over their rice, smothered in queso. Simple, but satisfying.”
