“First time at Midnight Rodeo. So far, playing good music, drinks are pricy but they have plenty of liquor so I don’t mind the price. The only thing…..where are the county dancers?!?!? There were like 3 couples dancing: we need to fill this place up with hard core country!!! Come on out and show Springfield what country dancing looks like! Anyone?!?!?“
“The Flea is its own cozy eclectic experience. You go there for the people. The vibes. The characters. The dog. That one group that’s always sitting at the front table outside no matter when I go. The Flea might be a religion, but in a good way. The folks running it are helpful and no nonsense. They get us all served and keep things running safely and smoothly. There’s pool and games outside and inside in the back. There are tables inside and outside. Part of the outside is a covered roof and when it gets really cold they put up a tent like wall and set out heaters so you can still go out to smoke and not freeze. The liquor is a good price. This a good place to start or end your night and you should definitely bring all your friends.“
“We found this bar while passing through on vacation. Walking into it was like walking in to "Cheers." We were welcomed by the locals and felt right at home. Our first beer was on Gunny--his policy for newcomers. Grace the bartender was friendly and attentive. She took us on a tour of the outside patios. So nice! We wished we had more time to spend there. We're putting this bar on our list of places to bring friends when traveling through again. What a great find!!!!!“
