Starbucks in Springfield

“I love this place and come here all the time. Today, I ordered 8 cups of coffee but dropped 4 in the parking lot. They all broke, and the coffee completely spilled out. But the staff ran out and helped me to cleaned up, and then they gave me 4 new cups for FREE! 😭 Such amazing and kind service. Highly recommended!“

“I got my little iced espresso with customizations because I like super specific drinks and it’s a little cheaper to be able to customize, as opposed to replacing and removing major components of a preset drink.

Regardless, I added more customizations today. I always prepare for them to think I’m a pain, whatever, but no! The lady in the drive through was the sweetest! Genuinely so so kind. I had mobile ordered, I assume she was busy, so I waited maybe like 10 secs, then she was super sweet and invited.

And the drink! It was so super pretty, tasted beyond good. I’ve been wanting a pick-me-up/treat, as I’ve been doing a whole lot recently, and she absolutely delivered.

I came at around 10:50, 06-04-26. Whoever was on shift made my day.

“It’s inside a Price Cutter in north Springfield so the outside isn’t the most eye catching place but to my surprise the environment inside was extremely tame and tidy! It just made the experience all that much more enjoyable. My food and beverage felt like it was prepared with much care. Honestly, just don’t judge a book by its cover.“

“I have only visited this place once so I'm by far not a regular. The staff were friendly but I was quite disappointed that they didn't use the star rewards. I found out it's because the Starbucks is through the store and that's why. Which makes sense. Now, I am not sure but they could have changed that since I've been. “Gale served me and was friendly and helpful. I wanted something special and asked questions. He was thorough with answers and offered suggestions to make it even better. He wasn’t rushing me in the least. When I figured it out, he made the drink quickly and thoroughly, and it was the best, most well-crafted drink I’ve had at a Starbucks ANYWHERE.“

“I needed to charge my phone and eat and wait for Lyft! The famous restaurant across the way doesn’t even have an outlet available. Mariah and Courtney were super helpful! “Pretty location within the basement of Plaster Student Union. My first fall semester at Missouri State University, I tried the Cordusio, which was new, but only temporary, to the menu, and I really liked it. It was named after Piazza Cordusio in Milan, Italy, where Starbucks had just opened a new store.And my first fall semester as a Missouri State Bear, I used to go here every Tuesday during my lunch break, between my lab section of Digital Film & Media Production and Intro to Film. It was one of my favorite parts of that semester, along with those classes.“

“Even though this location does not have a drive-thru, it is still my favorite Starbucks to visit! Evan is hands down the best barista! You can tell he has a love for all things coffee and is very knowledgeable about what he does. I hope you're lucky enough to meet him when you visit!“

“I followed Google to what I thought would be a regular Starbucks. At first I was disappointed that it was in Price Cutter, but I am glad we stayed. They still have seating, and it wasn't as crazy busy as regular Starbucks can be.Service was great.“

“Everytime I go to HyVee I look for Cassie! She’s the best barista I’ve had since shopping here! Always super positive and I don’t buy coffee often so when I do I take a while sometimes, she’s always very patient and informative! She’s my go to girl! And she deserves some recognition!

“We had a disappointing experience at another Starbucks location in town because our drinks tasted off. Instead of going back there, I called this location because I was nervous about getting the same result again. Kari answered and, without hesitation, said, “Come on in, we’ll fix it.”

When we arrived, she was incredibly courteous, kind, and made the whole experience easy and stress-free. They remade our drinks, and they tasted perfect. It completely turned our day around.

Customer service like that really stands out. Kari treated us with kindness and made us feel taken care of instead of like we were inconveniencing anyone. Huge thank you to her and the team for making things right!“

“I've been to this Starbucks twice in the last two months, and both times a barista named (I believe) Kenna took my order and made my drink. Both experiences were excellent.

The first time, after placing my order, I realized my Lyft driver was going to leave in about two minutes. I knew it was a lot to ask, but I let Kenna know I might have to leave before my drink was ready so she wouldn't think I had just walked away. She was incredibly understanding and had my drink ready in what felt like a minute. On top of that, she was genuinely kind and friendly. I was so grateful.

The second time I visited, a line started forming at the counter while she was finishing another customer's order. Even though she was busy, she acknowledged everyone waiting, which was really appreciated. She handled each order efficiently, and when she got to mine, she noticed I was waiting and kindly let me know my drink would be ready shortly. Just as she said, it was.

I used to come to this Starbucks several months ago, but I had stopped visiting because of the service. Coming back after some time away and seeing such a positive change has been refreshing. Kenna provided outstanding customer service, and the rest of the staff was great as well. Thank you for making these visits such a positive experience!“

“Good location to have. Very handy. Fairly fast. Got my order right. Did not have to wait too long. The pink drink tasted great. Just how I like it. Had 3 or 5 tables to sit at. The prices seemed slighty higher than other starbucks. Otherwise a good experience.“
