“Remains my favorite cafe in Springfield. The staff is always great, they use good quality beans, and it's one of the very few places in the area that actually sells whole specialty coffee. I stop here almost every time I have to go to Springfield and have literally never had a bad experience in the last 5+ years.“
“This drive thru coffee hut is perfect. The quality of coffee is excellent (far superior to any chain). Every barista is friendly and brightens my day when I come through. And you can’t beat the price per quality! *Bring cash to pay and you’ll save a little money too *They say “how are you today” and every time I say “better now that I’m here” because truly I am ? my kids love talking with them through the windows too.My off the menu favorite is iced coffee with 2 pumps of brown sugar mallow and a splash of milk! We’ve also started buying their bags of coffee for home too. We grind beans and have enjoyed their Ozark Mountain coffee daily too!“
“The employees are AWESOME they help you as fast as they can, and always have a smile for you. The donut ? itself tasts fine. But they have either changed the chocolate that they cover the the donut with or changed to a cheaper chocolate and it did not taste that g(ood. It was not up to the St. George's standard of the past. The donut ? was much smaller than it was in times past, and it was more expensive too. I guess all good things even donuts ? must come to an end.“
“I agree, this is the best "pastry" doughnut shop I have ever tasted! so far, the cream cheese, maple, and caramel are my favorites! I can't wait to taste the Christmas flavors coming soon! They also serve unique sandwiches and breakfast items! Their house coffee is also very good, not bitter!“
“Like, imagine the perfect coffee shop from the perfect movie. It's not as good as this place. Order a White Russian and thank me later. Actually, I'm probably here now drinking one too. Thank me now.Parking: Parking can be tough at times, but typically you won't have too much trouble.“
“I have been consistently visiting Architect 3-4 days a week for 1.5 years. I continue to come back and skip closer coffee shops for several reasons:1. The staff is incredible. Nearly everyone seems like they genuinely enjoy working there.2. The coffee and food are great. I don't want to know how many lattes and burritos I've consumed.3. Architect is the busiest coffee shop I've ever experienced. This might be initially seen as a negative, but it's not. The staff get through the line very quickly. I see 5 people I know nearly every day. This place is filled with life. It exudes joy. Find it odd to describe a coffee shop this way? Not if you've been there.“
“By far much more of an enjoyable experience than Starbucks and more bang for the buck. I feel as if the point system is way better for loyalty members as I've only been going two months and have received two free drinks. Now I've spent double that at Starbucks and I only get stars nothing else is offered for someone who spends tons on over priced coffee as it is. Plus all the stars I've gotten still wouldn't add up to a free drink. Don't get me wrong I love Starbucks but for the loyalty and atmosphere 7 brew has become my go too for coffee lately.“
“We stopped in today just to look around, it was fairly busy and only one person was working as their shift assistant unexpectedly called out sick. They were super helpful thought the whole line (we were last) and quick to get everyone's items measured out, bagged etc. We did some spice tastings in the car and the things we got were top notch. Will definitely be coming back!“
“Well …this is my “go to” spot for coffee. Right now I am loving the Irish Cream Frappe…but usually it’s the Sweet Emotion for me.The staff…they are always great. A little messy with cups sometimes but at least my cups are full! ?. I don’t really have anything bad to say about Classic Rock.Parking: Depending on the day of the week and time of day, parking can be a pain.“
“We haven't actually been in during business hours, but we definitely will. We just went for their St. Patrick's Day Tiramisu class w/ Corned Beef dinner. And wow... It was so fun and delicious! The owner is so nice and knowledgeable. I already booked another class!“
“I love the days I get to start my workday here. Music is low, staff is great, wifi is fast, and of course - the coffee and breakfast items are wonderful. I like the Frozen Mudturtle and The Nigel with bacon (pictured) to start my day. Sometimes, I also get their GIANT blueberry muffins (the crumble on top is *chefs kiss*) There are vegetarian options available too!“
“The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing, a fun place to go and have coffee, the pastries are delicious and they have great vegetarian options.Vegetarian options: The cauliflower wrap is amazing ... I already want to go back for another one!!“
“Quick trip to Springfield for some milk tea; Rose & Brown Sugar Tiger Milk and Japanese cheesecake. The professionalism and communication they provided via Facebook prior to my trip exceeded all of today's "normal" communication standards. The team was welcoming & even allowed my daughter to try a few didn't bubble samples. I highly highly recommend!!“
“This place is incredible! Our family held a birthday party in one of the rooms, and the two ladies there (Sarah and Crystallena) where absolutely great, can't say enough about these two young ladies. The atmosphere and prices will keep you coming back to this chill coffee house. Would recommend to anyone.“
“Stumbled upon this place while looking for a local coffee business to support. SO happy to find a vegan restaurant here in Springfield but even more happy to find they were absolutely delightful in every way imaginable! Great coffee and even better food, like holy wow! The ladies working were an absolute pleasure to deal with and offered to help me walk my large order to my vehicle since I was parked far away. Phenomenal biscuits and gravy and sausage and egg biscuit, unfortunately I think I was too late for any pastries as they seem to have been cleaned out but I think that’s pretty telling in itself, I can’t wait to come back for more. Sure hope this place sticks around, it’s a total gem and I’m so very happy to have found it! Highly, HIGHLY recommend to everyone!Vegetarian options: Full vegan restaurant but delicious enough for everyone, even if you’re not on a plant based diet, I suggest giving it a try!“
“Great coffee and atmosphere. This coffee shop has great parking and an awesome downtown Field. There are tables in the front but there’s also a large area in the back if you have a group. The hardwood floors are beautiful making the atmosphere great. My latte was exactly how I liked it.Parking: The parking is easy to navigate. There’s plenty of street-side parking and there’s also a large community lot just up the street to the east on the same side of the road that has free parking.“
“This is a quaint little restaurant with a kitschy feel. The quiche was good and the sandwich was excellent but the salad was mainly spinach and needed some crunch. Prices are very good. I would recommend for a good lunch. I.Parking: Parking is at a premium. It is very difficult to find a parking spot. Come early to assure a spot.“
“My “everything nice” latte was so much more - sumptuous symphony on creamy and sweetness, with the perfect balance of spices and espresso! Chefs kiss! The coup de grace was an orange cranberry muffin topped with toasted walnuts! This was no ordinary sweet treat- nooo, the cranberries were juicy and tart, the orange a subtle landscape to play upon. The atmosphere was upbeat and had a great mix of ages! I will be back!I hate to use the term- the best latte I’ve ever had, it seems so tired but dang- it’s seriously the best latte I’ve ever had!!!!!!!!Huge variety of sandwiches and lunch as well. Something for everyone!“
“Service has always been good. The they carry is good, but it's not made in a traditional way. The pastries are great, and the ambiance and comfort is ok. This is one of the best shops in Springfield, but that's not saying much as most shops here provide really awful coffee because it's cheaper. Stay away from local coffee as it tastes much like dirt. The euro cafe has a beautiful Italian espresso bean called Lavazza. There's better out there, but not in Springfield.“
“It's almost noon. 56° and sunny. The birds are singing the latte is perfect! My bacon egg burrito is stuffed with egg, cheese, and bacon that is still nicely chewy, not just a crisp bacon bit. I'm a happy happy happy girl! Thanks to all the friendly staff !PS.. A year later.Their beans are one of my 3 favorite "go to" fresh roasted beans. And the view of the trail here is so serene! I feel like I'm sitting in a futuristic utopian coffee shop!“
“2 year edit: This is my go-to spot now. Consistent for years, excellent people, great quality and price. Granted I get the same thing every single time I come but it has never not been amazing. Take a chance and come check this place out.6 month edit: I have been coming here 2 times a week for the last 6 months and have not been disappointed once. Best coffee in town along with a great menu. If you are reading this and thinking about giving this place a try, DO IT!Best breakfast ? in town! Awesome customer service too! Come check this place out!“
“Cool modern donut shop with all types of innovative ingredient combinations. Colorful and and a little kitschy- all fun. We got a dozen mixed and every one of them was great. The big sell for me is the giant Apple fritter and cinnamon roll. It’s a drag to work on a holiday but the staff weren’t moping around and had a good vibe. The donuts have held up pretty good for several days and even a little stale they’re delicious. The only downside for me was that the music was a little too loud. I have some hearing loss and the loud music interfered with my experience somewhat. Great donut shop. Getcha some.Parking: It’s a little difficult to navigate into the location if you’re not familiar with the area.Kid-friendliness: Fun seating and lots of colorful decor. Donuts are always kid friendly“
“I had an incredible experience at The Potter's House today! The staff are very welcoming and my tea was refreshing. There are plenty of spots to meet friends or get some studying done. I felt at home, and was also very productive. Warm atmosphere, great drinks, and a Kingdom-Centered mission. 10/10!“
“Absolutely my favorite coffee shop in town. Hands down. Best coffee. Best service. Dogs. Don't come if you're not a coffee drinker because all of their drinks are coffee focused and coffee forward. It's not a basic white girl coffee shop.“
“The coffee is very good. I had a cappuccino and it was very good. They have a variety of coffees and teas. For food, they don't have too much, burritos, cookies,... The place is very modern, like an industrial building with high ceilings. Young and pleasant atmosphere. But the waitresses are not nice at all. And they don't have any kind of sugar!!“
“As a mainstay of Springfield, each Travellers House has its own unique aesthetic. The West Republic Road location has a warm, rustic atmosphere. The Venturella family has taken pains to accommodate a wide range of customers. There are high-top and normal tables with good outlet access for your laptop or tablet. There are sections of upholstered chairs for a comfortable social gathering or curling up to a good book. A more secluded area with a couch and chairs is also available. Just to cover all of the possible needs of a customer, there is also a conference room for you Bible study or company meeting. The pastries are all made from scratch either on site or at their Boomer location. With expert knowledge of coffee and tea, you can't go wrong with any of their brewed drinks, but some are good and others are great! The lunch menu does not disappoint, offering quite a selection of options. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and courteous. Orders are completed promptly and with care. As a testament to their customer retention, they have quite a few regulars.All-in-all, Travellers House is a solid option for about any type of coffee or tea related occasion. I cannot recommend them highly enough.Wheelchair accessibility: I regularly see myriad personal transportation devices come in and out with ease. There is ready access from the parking lot to the front door.“
“Very cool little breakfast/snack/small liquor store hangout on Cherry and Pickwick near campus. We went in this last Sat morning and only one girl working but she was knocking it out! Good coffee and bagel. We walked over and found a table outside. Lots of folks walking up from surrounding neighborhood with their pets. Friendly place!“
“I just recently tried scooters. Such a tiny little spot and always had a loooooong line. A friend brought me a coffee from here a couple times and it was super tasty so I went myself the other day and even though there was a big line it moved pretty quick. A very efficient system. My favorite part of the whole experience was when the attendant told me to “scoot on up” ? I’m a sucker for a pun and that had me giggling for a while. I’m definitely coming back!“
“I love this place because it opens when the ticketing counter opens at SGF. I haven't had the coffee because I'm trying to sleep on plane rides but I've had the quiche and the brownies which are gluten free and really really good. The people at the counter are very pleasant and helpful and they move pretty quickly. This place is amazing because a lot of airports don't really have gluten free options and it can make travelling way less fun, especially because you have to miss out on the plane snacks. I would recommend here!“
“This is a very cozy, comfortable place to get a few people together. Prices were fair and our server was excellent. Will certainly be back.Parking: Parking downtown is a nightmare. Luckily I found a spot one street over and only had to walk a couple blocks.“
“I just left Black Dog, a shop which I’ve been in many times, but mostly for coffee not for food. They had just released a new chocolate orange cruffinish bread so I thought I’d give it a go. Words are hard to describe what I felt but It was the most amazing pastry experience I have ever had. Seriously from a man who loves pastries this is otherworldly. I can honestly say it is the best pastry I’ve ever eaten. I’m absolutely blown away. This has ruined me for other desserts. Well done Black Dog. Well done.“
“Everything I have tried at the Polymath Educational Cafe TLC has been delicious, full of flavor, made with fresh ingredients and is vegan. Wonderful chili, soups and stews, lasagna, sweet potato and black beans over rice, chickpea salad, made to order fresh tossed salads, goulash, BBQ sandwiches and wraps, deli sandwiches, nachos and more. Fresh baked cookies and cinnamon rolls are perfect with chai tea, latte or fresh ground brewed coffee. There are gluten free options. This is a woman run business and your satisfaction is important to them. They have the best chili, creamy macaroni salad, loaded taco salad, and vanilla caramel iced coffee around. I have become a regular and am always excited to try something new. This was the Loaded Taco Salad. It's available every day and is so good with amazing flavors.“
“Great coffee and the sugar free options are amazing! The employees are always friendly and fun. Line can be long at times though.Dietary restrictions: Lots of sugar free optionsKid-friendliness: Smoothies or hot chocolate options available for kids.“
“Visiting Springfield for a couple of days and found myself at traveller's house. First their coffee is good. I usually just get plain lattes with extra shots. Taste of the coffee is phenomenal, amd not burn coffee taste. Then I decided to try their quiche. My mind was blown, crustless quiche wow. Tastes home made so I decided to stop a second time next day. Coffee even better than first day and tries a different quiche on the second day. Both days just awesome.“
“First off it's a very small shop and as you drive to the location it may look like it's not there. Well it is and it's delicious. I have attached photos which help for those who can really get a good visual of how they serve the food and the portions. It's more on the healthier side of things which I enjoy at times when you have been consuming butter and grease too often.“
“My 5 year old has been up since 4am. I'm having contractions and I ordered my pick me up drink from star bucks. I was unable to get in the drive through line because of crazy traffic on sunshine. And it hurts to walk and didn't have a mask so I couldn't go in. I called to cancel my order and the Bartista said " well let me just bring it out to you" as I'm about to cry from stress and lack of sleep.. This guy stopped what he was doing and brought my drink out to me! Kudos to him he made my day brighter!“
“First time at this location, just across from the old Casper's. Lots of choices for drinks and food but I just got an Americano with Honey added. Nothing special but it was good and very hot, which I appreciate. I didn't have any trouble but I could see if busy then limited parking close is about the only downside I noticed. The service was very attentive and greeted me with a cheerful disposition and smile, which is nice for a mid-Sunday morning. I liked the atmosphere too, with all the old album covers and posters on the walls and lots of windows that made the place feel open and spacious. Lots of seating and charging stations too. I liked it and will come back soon. Thank you for a great experience.“
“Wishing I had a cup of Scooter's right now haha. Prices are a little bit high but, they have been on point every time I wanted to be lazy but still treat myself. Every once in a while I've had a latte or cappuccino here. I've been grinding and brewing my own coffee at home for years now and have become kind of a picky connoisseur. I still don't know all the lingo that comes with the different preparations etc and I greatly appreciate the employees I have spoken with. I only usually ask them about two dozen questions every single time I visit lol, to further understand their coffee processes and about other items offered on their menu. Every time now, l have received understandable answers and a wonderful, glad-to-help attitude! I definitely don't mind paying the extra because the service and quality have yet to disappoint! Thank you to the coffee technicians that have served me here. Y'all rock!!“
“Imo their coffee isn't amazing, but considering the price, and their large servings, I would recommend it.There technically isn't an atmosphere since it's only a drive through. Don't plan on meeting anyone here for coffee if you want to sit and talk.“
“This is a very nice Starbucks. Staff was very friendly and the coffee was good like usual. I ordered a blonde vanilla latte, my go to drink at Starbucks. They had a nice seating area inside as well as outside. This location has a big parking lot with room for many cars, even space to accommodate a truck pulling a boat.“
“My wife and I are doing the Ozark Coffee Trail and came here for the coffee flight. To say we are overly pleased with our experience is an understatement. Great environment, great coffee, great service, and though we didn’t get food the food around us looked amazing.“
