McDonald's in Springfield

“A peculiar pride truck was parked on the roadside. Approximately at 3:00 AM, I placed an order at McDonald’s for a double quarter pounder deluxe with cheese and a strawberry banana smoothie. It is important to note that this smoothie was not substantial in size, and I did not receive fries.“

“Okay so it's a five-star review because McDonald's is McDonald's and how can you rate or compare McDonald's with anything else? There is nothing like it. The food is there when you need it or want it. It's exactly what you expect every time. The chicken nuggets are the same chicken nuggets. They have been forever. The french fries or the french fries and the double cheeseburgers are the double cheeseburgers. There is no questioning or mistaking that every time you go to this restaurant everyone knows exactly what they are going to get every time and McDonald's provides that for us as a society.

You cannot compare McDonald's with any other restaurant. You cannot compare this to Burger, King or Hardee's. They are completely different establishments. The only similarities they have is yes. They do serve burgers and fries however, McDonald's burgers is their own Burger. That doesn't mean that it's better. That doesn't mean that it is inherently different. It is meat toppings cheese on a bun. It would be like comparing apples to freezer burritos. While they are both food, they are completely different types of food. McDonald's food is in a category of its own. That does not mean that it is better than everything else out there. It does not mean that it is worse than anything out there. This is why there is no way I can give this place any less than five stars because it is exactly what you expect it to be every single time.“

“Great service!! Not long waiting. Definitely suggest this location. They are also more likely to have there ice-cream machine working lol. Also the workers actually look like they enjoy their job. Alot of other locations have workers who seem to be in a rushed bad mood. I understand how hectic it can get during busy hours. But this place. They smile during those stressful lunch and dinner rush moments thank you for that“

“The gentleman who took our order was so friendly. He was so kind to my Dad (83year) who is hard of hearing. He was patient and helpful. He saw my Dad had a military hat on and gave him a discount. I wish I would have gotten his name. Great experience!“

“This is a McDonald's and it does what McDonald's do . It does it pretty good . Sometimes they mess up, but not more than any other McDonald's and probably less than a lot.

So what I'm saying is if you're looking for McDonald's , this is probably a good place to start.“

“The food was delicious. Customer service could use some training. The employees don't acknowledge the customers when they come in. Orders are done at the kiosk. Decor is fine. Employees should check the bathroom more. The ladies restroom had 3 stalls and only 1 had toilet paper.“

“This is my neighborhood McDonalds. i go to this location more frequently than others. the staff is always very kind and helpful, the food is always fresh and hot. i always have a good experience when eating here and the quality is good for fast food.“

“This location was working very very hard and the staff were very polite. Sadly I hardly consider fast food restaurants even restaurants but they are and these people are working very hard! Thank you! I really appreciate Ariel and her great work addittude.“

“My last trip was for a late night dinner. There isn't much choice at 2am. There was 6 or 7 dudes dressed in cowboy boots & wranglers walking thru the drivethru & eating on the curb in the parking lot. Only weird because the college kids are all gone with it being summertime. Maybe the visiting baseball team? We placed a mobile order & it was ready quickly. Fries were hot. My only complaint was they discouraged me from getting some strawberry cream pies that I wanted, by telling me it would be a 15 minute wait. But that's not real unusual for that time of night.“

“I came in with my 2 girls at 10:55 pm and a young lady helped me. I asked for a coke after my order and it was out. She offered me another type of soda. After that she seen I had 2 girls and offered them toys.

My 2 girls had a extreme hard month and they made their entire night from the kindness of that lady.

“This location is great! The owner honors veterans. Most restaurants only give a 10% discounts IF they honor veterans at all. But this McDonald's gives a 30% discount to Veterans. Whether dining in or going through the drive-thru, 30% discount. I always get great friendly service at this McDonald's.“

“I have to say that since my last review the $6 meal deal brought me back and between this location and the one by the mall I've probably been about 10 times at various times and everything went very well each time and I'm thrilled. Keep it up!!!“

“Usually when I go to this McDonald's. The service is pretty good, but they're always busy. But tonight there was a kid Nate Johnson working who was so enthusiastic and nice and you could tell that he just liked his job and wanted to help!
He made the experience a lot better than the usual visit and I wanted to shout him out!!“

“Dont usually expect much out of fast food places but this McDonald's morning crew is killing it. In less than 5 minutes i had 3 sausage egg mcmuffins with 3 crispy hashbrowns that they added on at the window cause i forgot, and a plate of hotcakes. Good food, fast and friendly service. All for about 20 bucks.“

“I rarely order from McDonald's so when I do its a major treat. imagine my disappointment and horror when I opened my big Mac to find a huge clump of hair sticking out of it, and dirt all over the pickles. youre going to make someone sick. do better“

“Staff could use training on customer service. It would of been nice if customers were acknowledged when they come in. Friendliness was not present. The women bathroom, 2 out of the 3 stalls had no toilet paper. Cleanliness could of been better. Now the good news the food was great.“
