McDonald's in Springfield

“The shift manager was awesome, best service in a mcdonalds in a while! Didn't mind my complicated order. It was made right, so props to kitchen as well. Best mcdonalds I've been to in actual years. Only downside was being subjected to christian rock lol had to get out quick or I might catch on fire lol“

“Okay so it's a five-star review because McDonald's is McDonald's and how can you rate or compare McDonald's with anything else? There is nothing like it. The food is there when you need it or want it. It's exactly what you expect every time. The chicken nuggets are the same chicken nuggets. They have been forever. The french fries or the french fries and the double cheeseburgers are the double cheeseburgers. There is no questioning or mistaking that every time you go to this restaurant everyone knows exactly what they are going to get every time and McDonald's provides that for us as a society.

You cannot compare McDonald's with any other restaurant. You cannot compare this to Burger, King or Hardee's. They are completely different establishments. The only similarities they have is yes. They do serve burgers and fries however, McDonald's burgers is their own Burger. That doesn't mean that it's better. That doesn't mean that it is inherently different. It is meat toppings cheese on a bun. It would be like comparing apples to freezer burritos. While they are both food, they are completely different types of food. McDonald's food is in a category of its own. That does not mean that it is better than everything else out there. It does not mean that it is worse than anything out there. This is why there is no way I can give this place any less than five stars because it is exactly what you expect it to be every single time.“

“I'm not a fan of McD's food, but the service and play area at this location are awesome!! Its nice that the play place is noise controlled (as much as it can bewhen there are 30 kids in there, that is). I really like bringing the kids here.“

“My husband and I refer to this location as, “the good McDonald’s.” I hadn’t eaten McDonald’s for years and ate here and remembered why it used to be a weekly staple. I got the courage up to try other locations, and they fell short. If I ever crave McDonald’s, I’ll drive out of my way to only go to this location. 🍔 We’ve had excellent service here and the people working this location care. “Im leaving this review more or less for Daniel the manager. Usually on when im on lunch between 12-1:30. You can tell he takes care of his team and leads, as well as serves with a friendly smile everyday. It probably helps that im in here so often but being in the center of a major intersection I imagine im not the only one.“

“This is McDonald's. You don't come here for five stars, you come here because something in you fundamentally needs something. And you don't know what it is. Comfort, home, something to eat that is standardized,processed,and isn't good for you - but it's good. You have access to a soda fountain unguarded by the restaurant worker who is too busy to take your refill, kiosks that help you maintain a level of anonymity while you're ordering something that you might otherwise be ashamed of, and an undercurrent of class consciousness from workers who don't think about it on an intellectual level but rather feel it and live it in their bones. The revolution will not be televised, and the workers of the world will unite. One day soon, all workers will seize the means of production, come together in unity, and work for a better future. It all starts here.“

“This is my neighborhood McDonalds. i go to this location more frequently than others. the staff is always very kind and helpful, the food is always fresh and hot. i always have a good experience when eating here and the quality is good for fast food.“

“So much better than the other McDonald's in Springfield! Hot fresh food, And nice staff! I will note they were ignoring the Fry's beeping so it was a little louder than some, but the quality was way better!

This McDonalds is clean and well lit. Exerts a safe feeling. Staff was cleaning the dinning room while we were there?

Bathrooms were clean and well stocked.

Food came out fresh and exactly as ordered.

“Every Saturday and Sunday I stop at this very Mc Donald’s and get me a Steak Egg & Cheese Mc Muffin. Well on this particular 3/21/2026 the drive thru action was off the hook a gentleman named Trent and another gentleman named Dale were running from one end of the restaurant to the other when a very cantankerous couple came in and absolutely killed the whole vibe by being rude slamming there hand down on the register like it was a bell you ring and just being absolutely rude and obnoxious. Well during all the commotion they accidentally forgot the hotcakes and you would have thought the world ended. Trent and Dale remained professional respectful while also trying to hold there ground and I could feel there pain. The girl that was present continued to try and fight one of the female’s employees which I assure that man and woman would never had a chance to lay a hand on anyone I promise you that I simply would not have allowed it to happen but I want to give a huge shout out to the staff and Trent and Dale for how polite and respectful and how they handled themselves while keeping the peace and also having situational awareness. These men do not make enough those are skills that take a lifetime to master. Kudos to the staff here !!!!“

“This location is great! The owner honors veterans. Most restaurants only give a 10% discounts IF they honor veterans at all. But this McDonald's gives a 30% discount to Veterans. Whether dining in or going through the drive-thru, 30% discount. I always get great friendly service at this McDonald's.“

“The food is what you would expect. It was fresh and the young man who brought the food out was very kind. The restaurant was clean and well lit though the Matt on the south entrance is rolled up permanently and is a trip hazard. The only negative is that you have to do your order at the kiosk, but I understand that they’re trying to save money on labor.“

“When the tornado sirens went off Friday night and the local storm shelters were closed we went to this McDonald's. The employees let us in and made sure we were good, everyone was on point and professional. Fast food workers for the win!!“

“I just have to say that this location is stellar and I think it's because of the manager. I don't know her name but she is the nicest woman! Even when this location is slammed and sometimes lately seems like they might be shorthanded, she is on it and clearly do her absolute best to serve up quality food as quickly and nicely as possible.

When it would be easy to let things slide and treat customers hastily, she takes care of everyone like they are the most importantly in that moment and I respect her for it!

I frequent this location because of how she treats people and the standard she sets!
