“I googled to see if there was a place in the Springfield that area that still served my favorite appetizer called shrimp toast, and this was the only restaurant that did. I was so excited when I saw the menu! SO many amazing options!

I got the shrimp toast, a small combo of general chicken, and peanut butter chicken combo for my daughter and I. The combo’s came with a heaping portion of chicken, 2 crab Rangoon, and an eggroll each! Both meals were amazing and we had leftovers for the next day!
I will definitely be back and often now!“

“I did not go inside but there was a drive-thru which was very convenient. The food was fantastic, I loved the portion size and the size of how they cut their vegetables was very good. I was slightly disappointed with the crab rangoon, could have had a little more filling and was not what I was expecting, maybe the oil was slightly old. “I’ve been a loyal patron of HKI my entire life, even working at the Ozark location while in high school. For my 33rd birthday, I treated myself to my go-to: half and half daily special with crab rangoon. As always, the food was exactly what I hoped for.

“You will be pleased to come here.We used to come here before it changed. However, after it changed to 888 it has become my son and my family's favorite food. I literally snuck in a different Chinese restaurant the other day and my son noticed immediately and asked me to please go back to 888 next time. We have been here three times this week and I'm sure it won't be the last. When it comes to myself, I'm a picky person and this has the best fried rice I've ever had. It's rich and buttery. Slightly higher prices than other Chinese restaurants, but the food is so much better it's definitely worth it. “Eat at the Hong Kong Inn every time that I am in Springfield. Great food and a good quantity for the price. Always the same quality and flavor. “This was our first time coming to this restaurant. The selection was good and the food was well cooked. Our server was pleasant and attentive. He explained everything really well. The only reason I'd giving it 4 stars is because it was pretty empty and we still stood and waited quite a while for the food to cook. That may be completely normal but I kept wondering how long the wait would have been if there had been a normal dinner crowd in there.“

“Run of the mill chain. This place is close to my office, and is a good nutrition-friendly option, so I'm here probably 3-4 times a month. They can get on a kick where they are quite skimpy on the portions, which is incredibly frustrating. Usually bowls are heaping. I've had to go back twice to show them and complain. One time in particular (see pictures) there were only 6-7 small pieces of orange chicken and a tiny scoop of super greens in my bowl. Thankfully, when I went back inside and showed them and they filled my bowl. Most of the time they're good. Drive through takes a long time during lunch hour, but that's to be expected. Note to corporate, if you have an app that required a qr code scan to redeem, you need a way of scanning that doesn't require the employee to take my phone to do it. Usually it's not an issue, but I really don't like handing my phone to a stranger.
