“This was our first time visiting this restaurant, and as people who are not from this small town, we wanted to share our experience.

The food was delicious, prepared in a timely manner, and absolutely worth the money. Although the gentleman at the front counter may not have come across as overly friendly, he was professional, efficient, and made sure we received exactly what we ordered.

After reading some of the negative reviews regarding customer service, I feel compelled to offer a different perspective. We never truly know what someone is going through in their personal life. This gentleman could be dealing with challenges that none of us can see. A person's demeanor on one particular day should not automatically define them or the business they work so hard to maintain.

I also had no issue whatsoever with the restaurant being takeout only. In fact, I understand why a small business might choose that approach. Likewise, the darker interior and shaded windows seem like practical ways to combat heat and bright outside lighting.

Running a small business requires an incredible amount of time, energy, and dedication. Instead of immediately criticizing, I believe we should show a little more understanding and grace. If this is how small business owners are treated by the community, that's disappointing to see.

Our experience was positive, the food was excellent, and I genuinely hope this restaurant continues to gain new customers who appreciate the hard work and commitment that go into keeping a small, local business running.
