The negative reviews of this place are pretty funny. I noticed most of these people aren't from Springfield and clearly don't know what good Chinese food tastes like. They must be used to whatever passes for Chinese food where they live. Now that I've got that off my chest. Happy China is an amazing Chinese restaurant. The Hot Pepper Chicken is absolutely amazing, and their fried rice is really good as well. The Egg Rolls and Crab Rangoon are also some of the best I've ever had....read full review
I was very excited to try this place because I happen to notice that their wonton soup had roasted pork wontons. I’ve only ever seen that in St.Louis and it is my favourite soup of all time. I ordered crab Rangoon, soup, shrimp fried rice, and a chef special. Crab rangoon was spot on taste just like the ones in StL. My mom seemed to enjoy the rice. The chef’s special was ok. I've heard this place was good Chinese food from family members. It's adjacent to a gas station. (So cool!) Had take out was really good, especially the lowmein. I'd eat here ?. In the future.
