The negative reviews of this place are pretty funny. I noticed most of these people aren't from Springfield and clearly don't know what good Chinese food tastes like. They must be used to whatever passes for Chinese food where they live. Now that I've got that off my chest. Happy China is an amazing Chinese restaurant. The Hot Pepper Chicken is absolutely amazing, and their fried rice is really good as well. The Egg Rolls and Crab Rangoon are also some of the best I've ever had. My wife and I have enjoyed everything we've ever had from Happy China, the food has always been hot, and the staff has always been friendly. I highly recommend this place.

I was very excited to try this place because I happen to notice that their wonton soup had roasted pork wontons. I’ve only ever seen that in St.Louis and it is my favourite soup of all time. I ordered crab Rangoon, soup, shrimp fried rice, and a chef special. Crab rangoon was spot on taste just like the ones in StL. My mom seemed to enjoy the rice. The chef’s special was ok. It said spicy brown sauce but there was no spice and I didn’t get any lobster. Unfortunately when I tried the soup (what I was most excited to try) there was no flavor to the broth. It was yellow but also like someone forgot to add salt. It was so strange. The dumplings were great. This is the closest to St.louis Chinese food I’ve come across since I’ve moved down here and I would probably try it again.

Great food. One of the best chinese places in Springtime MO. But, I have one MAJOR issue. The restaurant owners kid (do not know his name) sat in a seat and took PHOTOS of me. Forgetting to take flash off, it was extremely obvious. I would not recommend dining in unless you want a little delinquent taking photos of you. When confronted, he said he didn’t take photos of me. RIDICULOUS.But that aside, great restaurant.

Kinda sketchy location for a restaurant but with that being said hands down some of the best sweet and sour chicken I've had in a long time.I stopped eating Chinese food when I moved to Springfield Missouri because I could not find a sweet and sour sauce that I liked. This is one of the only places I've found that make it right.Service is always sweet and friendly.

Well this was a true disappointment. All the reviews were great. However, when we arrived it was not what we expected. The food was just alright. Nothing g special and not even all that hot when it arrived. Plastic utensils and it is attached to a gas station. Definitely will not be back.

No way this place has 4.5 stars. If this is almost 5 star Chinese food then I can't imagine what anything less is. Chicken isn't chicken, it's just soft breading that's all melded together into a whole different entity. The rice is bland and the noodles taste like cardboard. Paid $30 for two meals only to get two upset stomachs. Please for the love of god, go and get good Chinese food somewhere else. Left one star because the employees are very friendly -- no complains about service.
