“My friends and I came here after going to another bar in town. We were after good drinks and some Christmas vibes. The staff here was incredible and the food and drinks were amazing! We got a vegan mushroom pizza and it's probably the best I've ever had. Skip the other places in town. This is the place.“
“First off, this place looks like it is straight out of a Wes Anderson movie in an eclectic French bistro. The ambiance is so quaint and beautiful. Second, the lunch is amazing. So simple yet so delicious. A perfect size portion. I have had the Jambon Fromage and the Croutes aux Champignons. The ham sandwhich was perfect. Expect quality ingredients, very fresh and ate every bite. And the open-faced mushroom sandwhich was THE BEST thing I’ve ever had possibly. The mushrooms with the wine flavor and the perfect amount of cheese topping it. I can not express how much I have enjoyed eating here. I also had a bite of the Fromage Grille and it was certainly a top tier grilled cheese. Also the aïoli for dipping is exquisite. Please don’t stop serving lunch. I look forward to returning again and again.“
“Being relatively new to Springfield and Missouri, I was invited to see my friends in The Dirty Saints band and join them for an All-star jam onstage both nights. I've only been to the Southbound club for my other friends Machine Gun Symphony (and the now closed KISS club). Everyone seems really nice and respectful of my recording and performing career resumé coming from the 1980's Los Angeles, Sunset Strip Heavy Metal scene. 104.7 The Cave Classic Rock DJ and Machine Gun Symphony frontman Jay Stevens has been introducing me to everyone in the Springfield club scene.“

“It was a friend’s favorite spot who passed away, so a bunch of us went to chill and talk about him. We felt at home immediately. We were created with kindness. Some of us even talked to people who remembered him. The bar food and vibes are great. We’ll be around again.
Wheelchair accessibility: There were not any steps to the front door or through the front door from the parking lot.“
