“Delicious beers and a fun food truck helped me enjoy a very pleasant evening in Springfield. I think the only thing that would have made it perfect would have been a power outlet near the table where I could have charged my laptop but that's really a minor thing.Parking was a challenge and I was just about to leave when I spotted the lot across the street that said "Hold Fast Parking." We were this close to abandoning and losing this lovely time.Friendly bartender, comfy space inside with a really fun vibe and yes, two delicious "Power Play Pilsner" beers while I enjoyed an insane hot dog from "Doggy Style."I can see returning here especially now that I know the parking situation!“
“We had a really great time here and loved listening to the live music that they have some evenings. I really like that you can post up and stay for a couple of hours playing games and enjoying some cold beverages. I enjoy the Spring Branch kombucha, but I did not like the Simple Batch Blackberry seltzer. I'm not a beer drinker, but their Kolsch is pretty good if you're looking for something light and you don't normally like beer.“
“Friendly bartender and great selection of beer available on tap! They really know what they are doing! I liked the coconut porter and pepper infused rye. It was rather quiet inside and not your typical lively bar/brew pub. Appears to be the local’s favorite spot for a glass of beer after work. It’s a clean place and so cool that they sell everything you could need to brew your own beer at home. Or they have classes where you can brew your own at their facility. I recommend checking this place out if you are a craft beer fan!“
“Accompanied our family and some friends on the tour some months ago. Fun! Today, here in the summertime enjoying a few new ones to me. I like the Trop Top the best today. Hot summer day but a nice north breeze so it's quite pleasant this afternoon. Try it someday.“
“Yes, my wife already reviewed and gave White River Brewing 5 stars. Yes, I have a habit of giving every dog-friendly brewery that serves a tasty well-priced stout or porter 5 stars. However, White River's porter and ambiance is so good that I must change my grading criteria since I can't give them 6 stars. The brewery is warm and inviting. Michael, the owner, took the time to discuss the business and share a taste of his upcoming October stout (yum!), and we had a lovely visit with a number of the regulars (which reflects well on the brewery and the city of Springfield). If you've read any of my previous brewery reviews, downgrade them by a star. White River is the new standard against which all others will be graded!“
“We frequent TGE because they have a great staff, and even better beers. They do custom brews for several area restaurants, and have amazing German rotations. If they have their altbier on tap, get it! Large deck for nice days, and shuffleboard!! A great way to spend a day in their pet friendly environment! Good restaurant next door to grab some amazing loaded nachos as well!!“
“I had the best gluten free cauliflower crust pizza with cheese and mushrooms. The mushrooms were sautéed in a delicious seasoning and placed on top the cheese. Everyone was very friendly and seemed to work as a team. I can’t wait to go back!!“
“You can expect a fantastic atmosphere, great people, and most importantly great beer here. It's a nice sort of neighborhood spot but has broader appeal to all kinds of people.I wanted to shoutout the owner, who is a great person. He went out of his way, when he didn't have to, to get me extra tickets for a sold out event that I was looking forward to with my parents. I will happily keep returning here.“
“Springfield Brew Co is one of my go to places in Springfield. Excellent food, great atmosphere--I love the upstairs outdoor seating--incredibly friendly staff and a huge menu of drink selections. They give back to the community, too, through the SBC Bike Shop at the Fairbanks--they repurpose donated bikes and make them available to anyone needed a bike for transportation or just to enjoy riding again. Bikes for all ages! Very cool place in every way.“
“We’ve been going to Banter since they first opened, and they just keep getting better. Great beer, friendly staff, clean bathrooms, and they hold fun events and music from time to time. Great neighborhood bar. They also serve wine which my non-beer drinking friends really enjoy!“
