I can’t recommend La Habana Vieja on Commercial Street in Springfield, Missouri, highly enough! The owner and staff make you feel incredibly welcome, and the food and drinks are out of this world. Went for lunch and had the most un-Cuban food I’ve ever had in my life, even plain white rice was dreadful. I heard other tables complaining amongst themselves about the food, having some sort of music on would probably help with that, instead of the eerie silence.
manager is very rude. When I explained to her why I didn't like the food, she got upset. I asked her if she was Cuban ? or if she had ever been to Cuba?
