I highly recommend, the guys are super friendly and thankful for each and every customer and it shows. The daily lunch specials are great portions and priced very reasonable.“
“We ate here for lunch today. The food was amazing, creative, and different than the usual. So were the drinks. The employees were all very friendly and checked on us several times throughout our visit. They accommodated my small children and gave them stickers. Each meal was delicious and came with large portions, and a yummy cookie (even the adults)! I ordered the Sassy Scotty chicken salad on the BLT with loaded potato soup. It was sooo good! Prices are great too. I 10/10 recommend and will be going back soon!“
“Food was good, employee that brought us our food was nice. However Kate took our order and was not nice. I had a birthday reward and didn’t know I had to tell her I had a reward before I ordered. She gave me a lot of attitude about it because I had ordered chips and a drink with my sandwich. My girlfriend then asked for a bag for leftovers and Kate was very sassy when talking about what bag, there was only 1 bag option that we saw.“
“Good News, Bad News.Saturday’s special today is Italian Beef. BUT, they ran out before 8 pm, when I got here from KC headed to Branson.I supported this local restaurant all thru Covid before my job took me to KC. My daughter looked forward to SDC. All day long I only wanted an Italian Beef. At 14 years old in the early 80’s, my first job was making Italian Beef in Chicago. This place does a great job of representing ChicagoLand.I can’t believe it the owner is stingy such that they ran out. It comes in frozen from Chicago, so I can’t see why there isn’t another tub unthawed.Guess I’ll have to be ok getting Italian Beef at Costco frozen from now on.“
“Our favorite place!!! My husband has Celiac Disease (gluten allergy). I know it seems crazy to go to a sub shop with all the bread around when you’re GF, but these guys are incredible! They’re always friendly, understanding, and take every precaution they can to keep his food gluten free . This is our favorite Springfield location because we have never once been made to feel like we’re inconveniencing anyone, which has not been the case at other locations. They were very busy today and were still very accommodating to our needs. I am not GF and the turkey and provolone is my favorite. So good! Fresh ingredients always. If you have a gluten allergy and wish you could eat a sub, this is a must try. They will take great care of you!! Customer forever! Keep up the great work guys!Dietary restrictions: Udi gluten free sub roll. They slice meat on a clean slicer in a separate area away from the regular bread/sub making station. We ask for untouched condiments from the back cooler, and they’re happy to do that. They have separate condiments for gluten free subs.“

“I’ve been eating here for years and I’ve always had a wonderful experience! The staff is always friendly and makes my order correctly and quickly! The sandwiches are always delicious and the salad ingredients are very fresh. I really like the pickup option when I’m in a rush. Their late hours are helpful when I’m hungry after a long shift at work.“

“Goodcents, and this location in particular, is my go to sub shop. Its my favorite Italian since starting college in the 90s. Today I wanted to get an early start on Super Bowl Sunday and every page I could find said they were open at 10. Google, Facebook, Yelp and even their individual corporate page agreed that it was 10 instead of 11, but evidently no one told the manager or employees. I rolled up at 10:25 to find a couple employees working but doors locked. 3 other cars arrived and left because they weren't open. When the doors opened at 11, meat and toppings were still being prepped. I nearly walked out, but you know, hunger. My bread was stale, a first for this location. Normally a 9/10, but today 7/10, will still eat again.“

“Six months ago I wouldn't have given Goodcents a good review. They were really struggling post Covid. We have visited Goodcents twice in the last month and have not been disappointed. My kids really like the kids alfredo. On our last visit, they didn't have any alfredo made but the person working took the time to make the pasta. My kids were happy and so was I. I love the Goodcents Original on wheat with tomatoes, banana peppers, mayo and a little bit of oil and vinegar. Very filling and the food tastes fresh.“
“Have you not been to McAlister's? I'm so sorry! You need to fix that. I really can't stand subway, Goodcents is good but that's a different type of place. McAlisters sits on the fine-dining edge of delis. They offer high quality meats, cheeses , bread, and they offered in an upscale, casual environment compared to places like subway. The closest comparison to it would be something like San Francisco oven or Panera but I really like McAlister's better than both. Don't miss out on their tea, their sweet tea and unsweet tea is excellent! Sometimes I go just for a cup of tea and that is it. Also I always find that the staff at the points-of-sale are always very kind and accommodating, at every location, I don't know if they just have good luck with hiring people or if there's some kind of hiring standard that they hold to but the people are always great! That keeps me coming back too! It's one of those things that you'll find yourself craving at random times. I don't think there's one bad thing on the menu so pick freely and enjoy!“

“We loved this place and it happened to work out really well for our family. Unfortunately they do not have an allergy friendly menu and they no longer honor the Sunday kid meal deal. They now offer a different deal on Tuesday and Saturday. It’s disappointing that the company doesn’t still do it, but the only issue we had was there was nothing that said it was no longer an option.“

The employees were friendly and followed through with my special request to hollow out the bread and load it generously with vegetables. The interior boasts a modern design and is well-maintained. However, accessing the location from National Street can be slightly inconvenient due to a steep incline.“

“there sunday before christmas & Korey/Corey waited on us with superb precision , professionalism and superb quality service. #1 He coughed into his arm like you are supposed to do to not spread it everywhere. Yes I noticed. #2 we had a party of 6 each wanting to modify something on their order & every request was met with professionalism. Instead of “we can’t do that or this is what’s on it”, He said, sure we can do that. Every request was met with courtesy & respect. Thank you for such excellent customer service. “So I have a wheat allergy, and have been going to neighbors mill for a long time because I can have the spelt oat bread. Here recently the customer service has gone way down hill. Today I called a head and order a grilled cheese on spelt, a tomato soup, and a salad and told them “no bread on the side.” When I got there I checked my food (because I have ordered this before and still end up with bread on the salad and have to give it away) and the salad had the focaccia in with it. So I told the lady checking me out that it needs to be remade, and her response to me was “well you should have told us.” (It was written on the receipt) so while I was waiting for that I asked for a spelt pumpkin muffin, paid for it and went on my way. At a stop light I had realized that she had given me a regular pumpkin muffin. So I turned around and when I got there she said “what’s wrong now?” And I told her that she put a regular muffin in my bag when I had asked for a spelt one because of my allergy. Needless to say I’m done, between what happened today and a buddy of mine used to work there and he told me that they treat their employees like garbage. Now they’re treating their customers the same way.“
