“Stopped here last minute for lunch after going to Top of the Rock. Everything was delicious. Our waitress was wonderful and also made our amazing drinks. The fried okra was the best I have ever had! We will definitely come back if we are in town again!“

“Awesome atmosphere. Love the history to this restaurant. Beautiful views. Loce the live music. Food was excellent. We caught the sunset and the fireworks show. The sunset was beautiful. But the fireworks blew us away. Fireworks were literally shot from the lawn at the back of the restaurant. You have the best view of the fireworks from the restaurant balcony. Not sure when they do fireworks, but it's definitely an experience to try if you have the opportunity.“

My friend and I were in town just for the weekend and thought we’d stop by to try Buffalo Bar. I’d been wanting to try it for a few years now but it just never worked out. So my fault going as a walk-in and not having a reservation. Make sure you make a reservation if you want to eat here!

We walked in around 7:20 and had no issues waiting since we didn’t make a reservation. My issue is that we were given a severely underestimated wait time. We were told we should be seated in 10 minutes, no more than 20 minutes maximum. At 25 minutes, I asked the hostess to check our time, she said 5 minutes. 20 minutes later, we were finally seated. But there was definitely confusion happening at the hostess stand and you could tell service just wasn’t going well that evening on multiple points. My issue isn’t waiting 50 minutes with no reservation, my issue is being told 10 minutes.

There was also confusion on who our server was so no one greeted us at the table or poured water. At 12 minutes, I got up to ask the hostess who our server was, there was a lot of confusion there. When we did get a server, she was incredibly pleasant and helpful (Rachelle). She did a great job and was doing her best not to let the night’s service show to the guest.

We ordered the lobster bisque, it was fantastic, and the burrata salad. The salad was very tasty, however it came with shaved red onions which was not in the menu description. I’m reactive to raw onions so I would’ve ordered it without them had it been on the menu description. We both ordered the fried chicken, it was moist and the seasoning in the batter was very tasty. The gravy with the mashed potatoes was a little sweet for my taste but good. They could spare a little bigger serving of mashed potatoes though, especially for the price.

We didn’t order dessert because at this point it was 9:30 and we just wanted to get back to our resort and relax. The scenery was beautiful, that’s what you’re paying for. There was a bagpiper at sunset (Amazing Grace doesn’t need played everywhere), and a piano player inside who was very nice to listen to. The chairs are comfortable if you’re wanting to hang out for drinks but as a short person, you sink into them and lay back like it’s naptime, so it’s somewhat challenging to eat in them.

Overall, I would possibly go back knowing to make a reservation and that the wait staff was very obviously struggling for many reasons that evening. Our server was great, the food tasted good. Just a little overpriced with a smaller portion.“

“We had a great experience at Farmhouse Restaurant in Branson! We were seated very quickly, served just as fast, and our food came out even quicker. The food itself was so-so, but the overall experience was excellent. Our server, Barbee, was absolutely incredible — friendly, attentive, upbeat, and on top of everything the entire time. She truly made the experience special. Overall, a five-star experience for hospitality, efficiency, and outstanding customer service!“

“This is far and away the best sports bar in town. Heck - they are pretty much my favorite place to eat, period! Their wings are the best ever - char-grilled, not fried or baked (as some mistaken reviewers have claimed. Everything is quite affordable, the service is beyond excellent, and the drinks are excellent! Do they get busy? Heck yes - and that's always a good sign! Do they occasionally have an off night? Doesn't every establishment? But do they respond to issues and take care of the situation? Absolutely! I often joke that this place is my own Cheers bar, as the staff is so good and know my name! If their food, drinks or service sucked, or was incredibly inconsistent, I'd never recommend them. But they are the best in town - and my first recommendation if someone wants a good place to watch a sporting event, they will always be my first choice to recommend!“

“My dad and I recently discovered this gem of a place when he came down to visit! We always get the create-your-own omelette with hash browns and split it, and it's delicious. The cinnamon rolls are heavenly, and the french toast is on point. We went here recently for breakfast (it was his birthday), and Krissy waited on us. She couldn't have been any nicer, and even sent us home with to-go drinks! Our order came out promptly, and we never waited a moment for a refill. Krissy is awesome, and so is Branson Cafe! Will definitely be back!“

(From Nebraska) We absolutely love coming to Branson —- we came on June 1st which was our 34 th wedding anniversary , and Branson was our honeymoon destination 34 yrs ago . We absolutely love love love Branson and all the entertainment it offers and provides . We love all the restaurants in Branson for a selection of a wide variety of food . We have never at hero’s but chose to try it this time —- it did not disappoint what so ever we absolutely loved it the food was delicious so good it called us back for a 2nd time Within that week —- the first time we had their fried chicken —- which is always kinda a concern being away with not knowing if it’s going to be greasy or not as my husband has a touchy stomach with greasy food . We loved the fried chicken !!!!! Literally lived it non greasy and very tolerable and did not upset my husbands stomach —- it was again very impressive and delicious . Toward the end of our week we chose to go back to hero’s once again and we were once again very very pleased . The waitresses were so nice and so accommodating and it was just he best in atmosphere —- we would be extremely extremely sad if this place ever closed because it’s on our return list for our next return to Branson . Oh and did I mention the breaded corn it’s a hit it was so unique and so different and it was yummy!!! Thanks hero tastes and taps you have us as a return customer to hero’s . “We had a lovely time at Billy Bob's tonight. The ladies here are so kind and sweet. The burgers were very flavorful. And I couldn't help but notice how clean it was! Surprised there weren't more people in there on a Thursday at dinnertime but I enjoyed our quiet dinner and the nice music. They even brought out little cups of ice cream for the kids. “This bar gets a 5 stars rating primarily because of Carolyn. She was the bartender working nights on the second night of our stay. She saved our vacation or at least made it so we didn’t have to go looking for another hotel. (See my review of the Thousand Hills Resort Hotel.) There were numerous problems with our room and we were getting nothing but lip service from the front desk. Late at night we were whining about it to Carolyn. She took the initiative to do something about it. She called the night maintenance man in to talk to us and he made sure the maintenance issue were addressed that night. I wish I could remember his name of the maintenance man as he deserves credit as well.“

“For a chain restaurant that seems to be closing more and more, excellent food options, portions, and priced right (competitively that is). We use to have one of these in Springfield IL and Fairview Heights IL area but both unfortunately closed and always had plenty of customers, busy time.
