Good Margaritas & Great Food. Staff is friendly & excellent service
Very pleased. service was great and the food very generous in size and tasty.
As someone who doesn’t like Mexican food, I cannot recommend Cheves enough! Never once have I ate at a Mexican restaurant and thought “I’m gonna go back” until tonight!
Was very quick to be seated, had chips and salsa immediately, food came quick. Also unlike many restaurants, you don’t feel crammed together. Tables are nicely spaced with plenty of walk room. Not to mention, the price is amazing! Food was delicious. Will be back!

Based on the reviews, Cheves Kitchen and Cantina | Mexican is an unexpected gem in Aurora, offering very delicious food with an airy, bright, and clean restaurant featuring fun colors on the walls and a quaint outside patio. The food is consistently excellent, with some of the best carne asada street tacos, delectable coconut shrimp tacos, and the freshest and most flavorful guacamole. The chips are a favorite, with a perfect crunch, and the salsa is pretty good. The Southwest Salad is prepared correctly, though the standard chipotle dressing is a main reason for ordering it. However, the service has been inconsistent. While some experiences include great service and being greeted immediately, other visits have involved a 20-minute wait to order, stale cold tortilla chips, and a server who was unsure and attempted to reach across a guest’s plate. A small portion of the correct dressing was delayed. Despite this, the food is a reason to return, and the restaurant is very reasonable, with a takeout order of street tacos, a chicken chimichanga, and tres leche cake costing around $30.
