Cannaloni wasn’t the dish I loved from the Candiccis on Holloway. Very bland. Bread was not included - will need to pay extra for that.

Such a disappointing and sad experience. They are closing 6.30.2024 forever. I have been going to Candiccis since it was in Clayton many years ago. It had been at least 1.5 or so years since I've been, I wanted one last time. The restaurant was dirty and dark. The employees were not friendly and quite snarky. The food was not good anymore. The Italian bread before the mean was stake and crumbly. The cheese garlic bread was flavorless, the cheese had no flavor, and there was no taste of garlic. The Spaghetti Bologenese sauce was more water than sauce and had no flavor flavor at all. The sauce was so thin that it didn't even stick to the pasta noodles. When I let the waiter know, they didn't offer to replace or take it off of the bill.

Decent Italian fare at reasonable prices, located on Holloway Rd just north of Manchester Rd. Salads are very good. Staff is friendly.

Food was great. We arrived around 5:15pm and it was pretty empty. We ate out on the patio. Service was pretty good too. However the patio is in need of some maintenance. Broken light bulbs, peeling paint, cobwebs, and general cleaning all around is needed.

When I stepped to that place I was shocked how dirty was a floor, tables, windows. I hardly can find a normal chair to sit down. Almost every single one had a hole on cover. The bathroom was also dirty.
And food was gross, all 8 shrimps on my plate was burned and black.
I would never ever go back to that place and my recommendation to everyone-STAY away from that place.

We have done the family deal for takeout a couple of times in the last couple of months. Both times were very good. Service was fast, and all the food was ready when promised. The food was very good, especially the chicken marsalla. With today's prices it was a very good value.

Candicci's has amazing Italian Cuisine! The food is very good! The salads are great, too! The live music on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays is fun to listen to, as well!

It is a good little St Louis Italian spot. As a vegan, I simply had a pasta marinara. Nothing special.

We've been there once or twice before and the food was fairly good winter one last time and the food was horrible when their thought I'd give him another try and the food was mediocre the sausage pieces on the lasagna tasted as if they were a freezer burnt and the service was ridiculous we walked in and asked for a booth so they could not give it to us they were accepting reservations that we did not know they were doing says nothing on the website for any kind of reservations the entire time we ate there was seven booths open and we were denied should have been no reason why we couldn't have because when we were leaving they were still several I will not go back there ever again nor will I ever refer

Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair and handicap accessibility is very hard they have steps leading up to the front and a ramp on the other side of the building by the front door where you have to go in and to be waited on if you go in their back door where it's at parking lot level there is no one there to greet you at the door and you have to walk to the other side of the building to get very difficult for anyone that is handicapped

Strange lunch experience... My family of 3 walked in to a mostly empty restaurant around 1pm and walked around looking for a host for a couple minutes.

When the host/waiter appeared, he seemed annoyed by our presence. No smile, no greeting. He grabbed some silverware and walked away towards our table. He was very curt throughout our stay to the point I regretted ordering food.

The food was hit and miss. The calamari was really good, tender but cooked all the way through with tasty seasoning, breading, with a layer of delicious marinara sauce.

The house salads were really good as well. I liked the dressing and the use of both parmesan and provel cheese.

The lunch pizza was decent. The provel, sauce, and sausage were tasty enough, but the crust was very burnt on the outside.

The seafood ravioli was not good. The protein was very rubbery like it was rapidly heated from frozen.

I liked the building, very beatiful restaurant and bar, but I don't think I'll be returning mainly because of the strange service.
