Great menu with classics and harder to find dishes. Love the sizzling spinach and the chicken 65. Great prices and very nice staff. Would recommend for lunch special or takeout or anything else :)
Vegetarian options: Great veggie section including a lot of options for the lunch special.

China in Bombay is a place my husband has been visiting ever since he was in college. Used to be the best Chinese restaurant for him for all these years until the last two years it has just tanked. It’s just not what it was. We loved it and now we always come back with such disappointment. The food lacks flavor, the portion sizes are unbelievably small, the taste is just doused in cornflour.
What used to be flavorful, piping hot, delicious, and the absolute best is now gone in complete opposite direction. We did not like our last three experiences at all. I should have written a review when it was a 5 on 5 but then again this has been my experience in the last 3 years and I think I should let people know that the quality and quantity has definitely gone down hill. Unfortunate but this is what it has come to!
P.S That is the size of the Konji Beef vs the free rice we received!

⚠️PLEASE BE AWARE⚠️: THIS PLACE IS NOT HALAL. We have ordered from this restaurant many times before, and we were always told it was Halal. One day we ordered food from here, and it was put in a box that had PORK written on the side. When we called to ask why this was, the owner told us "the food is not pork, it was just a box we got from the place we get our meat." Think about that. If the place they are getting their meat from sells Pork, is this place selling Halal meat? The next day we went in and asked the man where the meat came from, and he would not tell us. After that, we asked him what Halal meant, he did not know. HE IS USING THE WORD HALAL TO GET CUSTOMERS! Please avoid!

This place has outstanding interpretations of the classics, plus a whole lot more. The flavors are not to be beat. I can't remember chicken so tender melts in your mouth. Every dish is elevated. Don't go anywhere else. It's the best.

The main problem is the cleanlyness of the restaurant/kitchen. We went today and the place stinks like burn food or cigarettes. The dinning room and kitchen are oily and grimmy. We waited to pick up our food and we left smelling after 10 mins. Food is average. Price seems high.

The food is delightful. We ordered the chicken 65, Manchurian chicken, wonton soup, sweet corn soup, spring rolls and crab Rangoon. It was all scrumptious. The restaurant itself isn't much to look at. No decor, kinda dingy, cluttered with private mail and other personal effects. But don't let that discourage you from trying the food. I suggest if you are looking for a nicer place to dine then just grab takeout. But DO try the food!

Posted on the Zabiha Halal website but the owner said only chicken is Zabihah.
Amazing food! Love the shrimp lo mein, orange chicken, shrimp lo mein/rice and beef and broccoli! Definitely a return customer! Big portions. You won’t be dissatisfied here!

Not halal place. Please muslim people don’t be fooled by their confirmation yes it’s halal. But actually not halal
Went in on Saturday, they don’t offer lunch or dinner specials on the weekend so to get a chicken of your choice fried rice and two crab Rangoon it cost $27. The rice I received was not filled to the top like most places, at least an inch from the top, and my biggest complaint is the sauce they used for the general tso chicken, stait from a jar that tasted more like sweet and sour. Dissatisfied with the kind of money I spent on lunch, this whole in the wall resturant you might seem may have better options but they’re are way better Chinese options in the immediate area

Wonderful service and decent shrimp fried rice. My only issue was that the fried rice was a bit dry, but plenty of plump juicy shrimp.

We ordered food from China in Bombay yesterday and extremely disappointed. Chicken 65 was dark red color , skin on and gooey and blend. Very unappetizing color and no flavor. We ordered 5 different dishes none were good. Even the chili oil didn’t have any flavor. I would not go there again.
