I am brand new to Jet's Pizza. I never realized it was Detroit-style pizza; I just thought it was a generic franchise brand for owners to buy into cheaply. I was completely and pleasantly surprised. The restaurant itself was very clean and even my wife and kid noted it smelled exactly like how you want a pizza place to smell. The staff were quick and courteous. And the food was fantastic and well worth a little bit of a wait.
If I were rating solely based on this store, I would give all 5 stars. The Jets website is terrible! It defaults to Detroit crust. You may not realize it and fully set up pizza with intent on having hand tossed. When you change it, everything gets cleared off. I ordered a half and half pizza for my kids, with one side including no cheese, and each side having toppings. Once I changed the crust, it cleared off without my knowledge and I ordered a basic cheese pizza. Boring and...
Great Detroit style pizza with other styles available. They also have nice eat in area and this is one of the only places around where you can get a quick slice or two for a quick snack or lunch. I ordered pick up and was happy to see that they have keep warm oven which is great vs. Just having your order sitting on the counter.
