Lion's Choice - Ballwin

Food was pretty good. The worker at the drive up window looked lime he hated being there. Not friendly.at all. My large fries had less fries than the medium fries. Narely half full. We also werent given straws for our drinks. Doubt Id ever go back.

These places used to be clean. All the restaurants after the sale to PE group seem very dirty. They are ruining a St.L favorite before our eyes

I hate to leave a bad review b/c I really do love this location people are always great and service is always fast but all our visits since the beginning of the year, the roast beef has been so dry. And I usually prefer med well steaks. I have tried different times thinking maybe it's just an off night or lunch but keep getting the same results. I def try again, hopefully it'll be good next time, fingers crossed.

Good roast beef sandwich🥪

I placed an online order and 4 of my 5 items were grossly incorrect (swiss instead of cheddar, not well-done, turkey never heated up, missing ingredients, etc.). A high point was the very pleasant interactions with the staff at pickup. While this was an unfortunate experience, mistakes do happen. I am leaving this review because I submitted a request to customer service complete with photos of all of the incorrect items, but never heard back.

This use to be my favorite fast food restaurant but I sure don’t know what has happened to the food but it’s nothing like it use to be.?we have quit eating here and thought we would try it again. They can’t even get the order right! Makes me sad to think it used to be so good. Very disappointing

This location should be ashamed to call itself the "original" location when ever other one I've been to does it so much better. One of the main reasons why I look forward to going here is for the complimentary auju and onions. It was very obvious the onions/jalapeños had not been looked at for hours. It was extremely gross and had so many bugs flying around in it. It was appalling. I should have taken a picture of it. My concerte ice cream came half empty already. When I got home I saw my "large sandwich" was obvious skimped on.

I've been a fan of lion's choice for decades, but this experience was the last straw for this location. We ordered delivery and even though we're 5 minutes away, our "extra crispy" fries were soggy, the sandwiches were cold, the sauce (including the au jus, which sort of is needed to make my sandwich good) was all missing, the grilled cheese had crumbs of beef on it, and our concretes were also not given to the Dasher. The Dasher was nice enough to go back to get the concrete, but when they were delivered the servings were extra small, as though they made one and just tried to split it in half instead of making it right (picture included).

The Mac n cheese was fine though.

Have been going to Lions choice for 30+ years but the service at their first store here has gone downhill. Definitely only recommend going in off hours when they aren't busy. The food is good when the order is right but it better be at today's prices. Very unfortunate.

The food takes for ever to get. I placed a to go order they never called my name and let it sit there for 18 minutes.

Lion's choice is aways a good lunch or dinner. You get a freshly made sandwiches with Hot potato fries.
