Original Shawarma House

The shawarma is okay in taste, but one time I ordered a grilled chicken and rice, and the chicken was old, the rice was scarce, and it felt like plastic.

When they call it original, they make sure to prove it with what they serve you. Definitely on my list whenever I go to that area. The staff is very friendly and respectful. Of course the line is long, who don't want to try something delicious.

I visited this restaurant today. Ordered the Kibbeh and the beef shawarma. Awesome! From the atmosphere, the service to the food was excellent. I will return and soon. Two thumbs up!

They make the food so quickly even when packed I’ll tell you that! It’s impressing. Not a big fan of their fries or rice but the big shawarma plate and rotisserie chicken is good!

One day. Test. Different than another day

This place is LEGIT. Firstly, while most restaurants claim to treat you like family, Original Shawarma House does it. I have never been to a place where guests waiting for takeout are invited to enjoy not just water, but fresh coffee and tea of the highest quality. Phenomenal shawarma Arabi with the freshest meats off the spit. And I don’t know what they do to their fries the seasoning they use makes them a tier above the rest. I look forward to returning here.

It’s not a fancy place, but the food is always delicious and never disappoints. Try the beef shawarma on saj bread. They have a lot of items on the menu, so you’ll be able to find something you like no matter what

Me and my friend ate here yesterday and it was so good! He's middle eastern and said this is the best shawarma he's had from anywhere around here yet. The place was busy so you know others agree! Everyone was friendly. Free water and hot tea! Definitely give this place a shot. The chicken was my favorite with the rice and sauces which were all amazing especially the tahini sauce, the tebbouleh salad was fresh and clean tasting, and the hummus was really good hummus! Loved all that we got though, you can't go wrong!

Phenomenal, authentic food. We don't eat out too often, so we generally enjoy trying new restaurants when we visit STL. However, instead of going somewhere new today, we decided to revisit OSH! That's high praise in our book. :)

The food is good, though a bit overpriced. The indoor seating isn’t great — it’s not very clean and the décor could use improvement. They should work on that. Surprisingly, the chicken shawarma is more delicious than the meat shawarma,
