Not a fan. I didn't like most of the items on the menu. Place is real small and they had music playing and it made an already loud restaurant even louder. Came out with a headache and felt it wasn't worth the 45 minute wait. Too bad place is within walking distance for me.
The food is very delicious, but the service average and the restaurant is extremely loud. Add onto that live musicians and our table of four made it nearly impossible to communicate with friends. We literally literally had to shout and read lips to hear each other. We asked for an outdoor table and we’re not accommodated though there were some openings.it was not a relaxing dining experience.

The food is well above what one would expect from a small bar and grill type atmosphere. The decor is somewhat intimate,that is, on the smaller, cozy size. We went on a Saturday afternoon soon after opening. We were served promptly, and the food selections on the specials board were akin to a fine dining establishment. I selected a burger with bacon and pepper jack cheese, along with a side of onion rings. I was shocked at the size of the single patty with plenty of bacon, and I believe there were actually two types of cheese included...I must say it was very tasty and prepared the way I asked (med) and it was all I could do to finish. The onion rings came out a little darker than the golden brown I usually request, but the flavor was not diminished whatsoever, and they tasted great. All in all, I will be sure to return and try one of the daily specials, which all looked fantastic. Prices were a little higher, but you do get what you pay for, and at this establishment, that is quality food and service in a nice atmosphere.

I've been told about Parkside Grille for a couple of years now by several people and we finally made it out on a Friday night. I'm pretty upset at myself for waiting so long after my first experience. Everything I had was 10/10! From the BBQ rib plate special that came with pulled pork and andouille sausage along with fantastic sides of homemade potato salad, slaw, and baked beans to the well-crafted old fashioned cocktail. Service was fantastic and live music was perfect for a Friday night out. Parkside is a neighborhood gem and I cannot wait to get back.
