Came here last night with a friend and the food was killer! Great atmosphere, the people were so friendly and fun, and we had a great time. Normally I'm not a fan of jerk chicken but this place changed my tune! Will definitely be coming back for more.

Never had carribean food before but this restaurant food taste phenomenal!! And the drink is awesome! I had the owner recommended the fruity drink.

Great place to relax and unwind. Place next door was closed. Gentleman came out to greet us with a smile and invited us in. Great service & friendly. Oxtail was a pleasant experience. Mojitos were awesome. Great experience. Thanks buddy!

3rd time eating here with many future visits to come!I have tried their jerk chicken and brown rice, best jerk chicken I've ever had, I couldn't wait to have my leftovers for breakfast the next day! The 2nd visit I had their west indie shrimp and fired plantains, also delicious!3rd visit, had to have that jerk chicken again, this time with their mac n cheese. Great portion size, we'll see if this makes it to lunch tomorrow too hahaHad to order takeout this time otherwise I love to sit and chill. Food was still nice and hot after a half hour drive home~

We visited this restaurant because of the exceptional advertising on KTVI channel 2. The proprietor gave an excellent presentation about the Caribbean cuisine while on the show. However that’s where it stopped. We arrived at this location recently and the first thing we noticed was that bathrooms were in need of attention. Trash cans in both restrooms were overflowing, soap dispensers were empty and no toilet paper. Used Paper towels were all over the floor. We then presented our coupons which we had purchased on line and our hostess stated she could only honor 1 and that we would have to spend as a minimum $100.00 for her to honor it. Please note it does not indicate that anywhere on the coupon. However still being in great expectation, we agreed to do so since we were very anxious to try out this exciting Caribbean cuisine. Unfortunately, it only got worst from that moment on. The hostess went on to explain that certain items were not available and that owner was leaving to go pick up more items so he could prepare our appetizers. We ordered jerk chicken wings which were not what I would call jerk wings. They were more like glazed chicken wings. Although still tasty they definitely were not jerked. The Caribbean nachos were the best, but it took over an hour for to prepare them. The owner came and apologized by saying I make everything fresh. Then we ordered oxtails dinner for three of us and a pork steak dinner with mashed potatoes. When our meal arrived roughly an hour and a half later the rice and beans which we requested had no beans in it. The pork steak dinner was requested with mashed potatoes instead my wife ended up getting rice with no beans for that meal as well. I also requested Ginger Beer and the hostess provided me with a regular beer. Ok here are the perks as I try to end on a positive note. All of us agreed the oxtails and rice was delicious however due to the poor management of this restaurant and bar it took away from the entire Caribbean restaurant experience. Unfortunately, these challenges can be easily rectified by having better management. Cleaning this establishment before and after closing time will help improve customer satisfaction. Plus restocking food and bathroom supplies prior to opening will also aid in less customers complaints. I would also recommend that the owner instead of only apologizing for his shortfalls compensate customers at the end of their meal if he can not fulfill their orders as requested.This was most definitely a big disappointment for what we thought was going to be a memorable experience..

The food was excellent! High quality, very well cooked, tons of flavor. Very nice people, great service. We had the snapper, jerk chicken and really great mojitos! We will be back to try the oxtail.... and have more mojitos ;)

Really excited to have this restaurant in Ballwin/West County because the area really needs something different and I love Caribbean food!I ordered the jerk chicken entree with beans and rice. Jumbo jerk wings with fries and a separate side of cabbage. All totaled $50.Ordered takeout online with ease. Very friendly and welcoming staff with a nice vibe. Jerk chicken and rice were good. Cabbage was great!Got there early to pick up my order and was told they were out of beans and rice and had just rice. Still charged full price.The wings were not jumbo wings. They were party wings. Chicken is chicken but jumbo wings hit better. Photos from other reviews show jumbo wings so they must have ran out.The jerk chicken entree consisted of just two pieces of chicken. A drumstick and small thigh. Maybe if they added another thigh piece would justify the price tag.Hope I am not being too critical but I really want this restaurant to succeed! I will eat here again and would love to check out their comedy nights (Friday).

Neat little Caribbean restaurant and bar in west county. It’s a hidden gem. Really flavorful food. The Oxtail was incredible. Highly recommend.

Delicious food!!! First bite of each item was so unique and savory! I especially loved the Caribbean style fish. It's rare to find something new that makes you go, "WOW! Best thing I've ever eaten!"

Not only is the food absolutely delicious, the service was the best I have ever seen. This is extremely kid friendly and an amazing family atmosphere! This is now our families favorite place to eat!

Kid-friendliness: The manager Devora was so sweet and even brought games for the kids and then let them decorate with chalk on the sidewalk!

Great place. Food is wonderful, the owner and staff are super friendly, and the general atmosphere is welcoming. We got goat curry, j*** chicken, and bbq wings. All of it was very good. Definitely will be eating here again.

I always like trying new places. Specially when it’s different(we don’t have many Caribbean food around us) and less than 5 minutes away from my houseI got to know about this place because I was hired (by a third party) to take their online menu photos.I went their and you can see how everyone is happy and enjoying their food, which was a good sign.Asked for the menu was given one with a big smile too.Lots of options but I decided to get few small plates to try as many as I can for the first time.Got the wings (***** order of fries (with the special seasonings) wanted the bean and rice but they were out and finally got the plantains Carmel roll and the beignets.Since everything is cook to order (which is a very good thing) don’t expect to come in and out in few minutes, it’ll take around 15 minutes based on what you order.Wings were well seasoned yet I was expecting that extra kick. Nevertheless, they were good juicy wings. Fries with the seasoning were terrific, not you ordinary fries that’s for sure.But the highlight of the order was the dessert. I can come back and order the dessert which would make me super satisfied. My wife agrees and said these were the best dessert she had in a long time.The Carmel plantain roll was superb. The contrast of texture was spot on. crunchiness of roll with the velvety inside made the perfect combination. The beignets also made our tastebuds dance. The sweetness and fluffiness of the outside and the little crunch caused by the sugar cinnamon mix playing alongside with the stuffing (some sort of cheese if I’m not mistaken) that was creamy and a little savoury made the sweetness even stand out more. Adding that Carmel sauce to it just elevated it to the next level.Over all, I would definitely recommend and will be back very soon.Thank you for the great experience.P.S: shall be adding photos soon.
