Pizza review: Beef & Queso Pizza, large.
The quality of the toppings is outstanding, and the crust is superb as usual, but I was underwhelmed by the new beef & queso specialty pizza. I was expecting queso on it because hey, it’s in the name. Sadly, it either doesn’t actually have queso on it, or the corporate spec on how much to use is so stingy with it you can’t tell it’s there. I don’t think it’s the fault of the restaurant itself, I think it’s a corporate issue…but I digress. The flavor profile was on the bland side, which is surprising for a Godfather’s pizza. It was nice and spicy from the pickled jalapeño’s, but because it doesn’t have sauce and there was little to no queso, it just missed the mark on flavor.

Bottom line: beef and queso pizza is underwhelming. Try it in a personal size unless you’re feeding several people, but get a backup pizza ?”

“I went in for the 1st time March 14 and had a hot green tea with oat milk and avocado toast. My my my. My first time for avocado toast and it was phenomenal. I went back again the following Wednesday just for the avocado toast, it is that good. Beth, the lady who helped me both times, very personable and helpful. Highly recommend.”

“I visited this location for the first time yesterday and everyone was so nice! I accidentally ordered two veggie burgers and the lady who brought the food to our table was so sweet and got me a refund for the 2nd one even though it was absolutely my fault. I wish I had gotten her name! Another woman, Tammy, stopped by our table to see if we needed anything and she also was so nice. She saw me pulling off the tomato of the extra veggie burger to put on mine and offered to bring me more haha They were all just really great there, and the food was too!”

“Stopped here yesterday for the first time . The pulled pork and Turkey sandwiches were out of this world. The pasta salad was amazing, I had never had a pasta salad like that before. My husband said the Pumpkin pie was one of the best he has had. I had said I wanted some good bbq while on vacation and this exceeded my expectations.”

“I just had my son's wedding rehearsal dinner there. We used the new event space. We had plenty of room, it was very cozy and comfortable. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. Especially Kathleen, she stayed in contact with me and help coordinate as needed. The food was awesome. The best chicken salad I've ever eaten for one, but everything was delicious and wonderful. I will definitely be using them again.”
