“We met here for breakfast, before my son from St Louis, returned home. Everything was excellent! Our server was delightful, the food was perfectly prepared and the facility was clean. We had a wonderful meal together. Kudos to all!Vegetarian options: I had the Impossible sausage combo with mushrooms instead of eggs, and power pancakes. It was delishious and satisfying. The portion size was perfect!“
“Although I would recommend, an issue did occur today. I ordered a menu item today with the expectation of paying the listed price. When I arrived, I was told a higher price. The lady behind the counter told me that the price changed. I did not think it was fair to pay a different price from what was listed. The online price should reflect the menu price to avoid confusion.“
“Everything about the food, specialty coffee drinks, service, and atmosphere was top notch! Our table had the lavender latte, pistachio cherry French toast, salsa verde, corned beef hash, and a triple play for the kiddos. Everything was so good (especially the pistachio cherry french toast! It’s seasonal and I hope it makes it back to the menu next spring, so so good!!) The host and all servers we came in contact with were very kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. The only thing that brings this rating down is the manager… he’s very rude to the servers. At a place where the mission statement is “cultivate kindness” this was not expected.“
“Went to this restaurant on a recommendation. Since it was Sunday it was breakfast only. That's fine since I was in the mood for breakfast. Water was served in glass bottles where you pour more for yourself, which I like because you never know when the waiter will be back around to refill. Decided on the country fried steak with scrambled eggs and hash browns. While I was waiting for my food, I noticed the music playing in the background. Kind of reminds me of the music that's played at an aerobics studio. Helps you wake up and feel energized. I was happy with the amount of food that I had. Country fried steak wasn't too big nor to little. Enough to get you full but not to the point of going back to bed. I liked what I saw on the menu. Interesting twists on some classic breakfast items. However I would like to see some simple classics on the menu. Some folks just like good old eggs and bacon with a cup of coffee. The only other issue I have is the restroom. Men's side is in need of some cleaning. Markings all over the stall and diaper change table, the blow dry fan having a nasty brown stain on the wall. Best way to avoid that is to install a stainless steel plate in the wall. Makes it way easier to clean. Overall a good visit. But please get the restroom cleaned up.“
“It was probably the best breakfast I ever had. There are so many excellent choices.I had a cheese omelet with hashbrowns and, of course, flapjacks. The flapjacks melt in your mouth.Awesome...Josh is an awesome server.Ask for him.Ron & Joy“
“Faith our server was fantastic. She was friendly and efficient and made our dining experience so much more enjoyable. The food was delicious. If you don't want to miss out on a seasonal yummy stop by within the next month for their lemon pound cake French toast....so delicious!“
“Our experience was amazing! The food and service was great. Our waitress Emily was wonderful and knew everything on the menu and even suggested what she thought was the best and she was right! Next time we are in the area we will definitely be back!“
“I absolutely love the breakfast here! Everything was fresh and delivered with a smile. More mornings will be spent here!Vegetarian options: Power bowls, fruit cups, amazing veggie omelets.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly with high chairs available for little ones.“
“The chicken spedini salad was okay, but missing the "spedini" and a bit small for the price. Shared a biscuit and gravy with my friend. Good biscuit, but the gravy had an interesting flavor...almost acidic like lemon? My friend enjoyed her Denver omelet, but the hasbrowns were flabby and not crisp or seasoned enough.“
“When you first walk in and see all the writing literally on the walls, you question your decision. But go on in. It is a very clean, beautiful place. We had The Kitchen Sink breakfast, it was delicious. The wait staff are wonderful and friendly. The atmosphere is very relaxed. The names of the options on the menu will have you laughing. Highly recommend.Parking: Large parking lot as it is in a steep mall type setting. Handicap accessibleKid-friendliness: They have 6 televisions, 3 on each side that will keep them entertained, also a kids menu and many options, even for picky eaters“
“Their portions are huge and that's awesome but there was no flavor at all to my omelette or potatoes. Boyfriend had biscuits n gravy and there was no flavor in it either. The cinnamon roll was good but not everybody wants just sweets for breakfast.“
“You can't go wrong with this restaurant, you get seated quickly, if they aren't too busy your waiter will so too and same with the food even on the busiest day it didn't take the kitchen too long either to bring out our food. I will recommend the Eggs Benedict!“
“I started coming in here every morning after work last winter, to get some place warm to wait for my bus. The server who is there most days in the morning has always been a great friend and great company, and the cook is also great to chat with. Now I stop by at least once a day every week after work, even when the weather is more tolerable.“
“The food at snooze is freaking amazing. Get the pancake flight. It will not disappoint. Their bacon is cooked to perfection. Their use of sweet potatoes in breakfast items is unheard of! The service is always excellent. As someone with gluten issues, I've never been sick after eating things like GF pancakes and toast. I can have carbs here!! I highly recommend snooze. If you're looking for unique breakfast combos or traditional morning eats, this is the place!“
“This is a hidden gem. While the it has traditional (and very tasty) breakfast/brunch items, the Mexican options are what keeps me coming back. I've has the enchiladas con huevos with pork green chile and the birria con huevos. Both were excellent, but the pork green chile is the star. If you want a Mexican twist for breakfast brunch in South KC/Leawood, give the Breakfast Spot a try - you will be glad you did. Maybe breakfast before parties on Cinco de Mayo!“
“I am almost 60 years old, and this was my first time ever eating at a Waffle House and it was honestly the best tasting breakfast I have ever eaten at a restaurant!! It reminded me of the homestyle breakfasts my mom used to make more than 45 years ago!! I would definitely recommend!!“
